Location is great. Unfortunately we were overcharged for various fees. Gas 17 euro per night. I turned on the radiators for heat. There was air in the pipes so they sounded like machine gunfire. I turned them off. Electricity 15 euro per night. For the lights? The amount due at check in was 170 euros more than Expedia said it would be and I had to pay in cash. Expedia says there is nothing they can do about it.

your reservation, our page and Expedia shows all fee before to make a reservationyou booked and you have accepted terms and conditions of this reservation but then you don't want to pay... you're a really strange person..A review should be done for you too..

This property has the most ideal location! You are less than a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. Communication with Francesca was excellent and the introduction we received to the unit by Ginaluca was excellent as well! If you are looking for a place with a great location, this is it! The restaurants in the area are great as well!

No Cruise Control Girls Trip
The location was great and the apartment was awesome. Loved the private bathrooms for each bedroom. The bedrooms and baths were rooming and the apartment was exceptionally clean. The price was also reasonable. We thought the mattresses were very hard but otherwise everything was great.

Perfectly located.
Very secure unit and quiet, peaceful. Well heated and aircon is also provided. Gas stove is very useful. Oven helps to heal up food. Comfy beds. Some might find the extraction fan a bit noisy but that can be turned off easily. I think it's location is perfect. Groceries and restaurants downstairs.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment during our stay. The apartment was spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied with plates and utensils and appliances. The fridge and freezer were especially useful during the hot summer to chill our water and drinks. I also learned how to make coffee using the moka pot which the apartment supplied. The apartment had good wifi, although the signal was weak in the master bedroom - so I have to move closer to the living area for a stronger signal. We experienced a short power outage one morning - although this would have been outside of the owner's control. The apartment was close to the Vatican, the metro, grocery, shops, restaurants - including pizzerias, gelato shops and a cornetto notte. Francesco arranged for our transfer from the airport to the apartment. Although the driver forgot to drop off my in-laws to their hotel. I had to walk them to their accommodation 2 blocks away after we checked-in. Overall, our stay was good and memorable. Our special thanks to Cris who gave us a very warm welcome, attended to us and gave recommendations on where to buy groceries.

Overall happy with our stay
The hotel is lovely, modern and very clean. Great location, just next to Vatican City! The breakfast was small but nice, the host just could have been a little bit warmer.

Property is close to the Vatican, however the area included several homeless people, including one on the front entrance of the building. This is not a true "B&B" property, as some units are apartments and 3 are rentals. Clients did not feel safe in this area, even though there were 5 locks to go through before entering their room. The owner of property was approximately 1 hour away and it was a challenge receiving timely assistance.

Don’t stay here! No A/C or temperature control!
During our one-night visit to the Vantaggio apartment on May 21st, although I asked for it, Francesco did not give us the remote control for the air conditioners. He simply said he didn’t know where the remotes were. He also asked if I was warm, to which I replied yes. Why is it up to him whether we can use the air conditioning?? I asked him to bring the remote control to us that evening. He did not bring them. These accommodations were supposed to include “in-room temperature control and air conditioning.” My entire family was too warm and couldn’t sleep through the night. I was awake from 3:00am and on. And extremely exhausted. The apartment is beautiful, but guest comfort should be an important concern. We do not open the windows while sleeping for health reasons and because there are no screens. We were completely misled about our accommodations. In-Room temperature control and air conditioning should have been made available to us. Additionally, because the apartment does not include breakfast, it should not be listed as Vantaggio “B & B.” “B & B” implies that it is a Bed and Breakfast and that breakfast is included. It is assumed. That was disappointing as well. Lastly, there is no real “balcony” with the apartment. It’s a walkway to the door. But the lack of temperature control and A/C was the most upsetting to me and my family. I hope this information helps other potential guests, so that you don’t have to endure what we did. Our stay was miserable. Don’t stay here.

I think this woman was too stressed to travel.. the forecast say the coolest May in the last 50 years in Italy, around 13/14 degree and she wanted air conditioning.. Consider other room asked me for heating.. ahahahah

Punches above its weight
Excellent location for sightseeing particularly for the Vatican. Very modern and clean inside with bedrooms on a par with many more exspensive hotels although obviously doesn't have a bar / restaurant or full time reception desk. Sensibly priced minibar and excellent continental breakfast. All staff members were friendly and helpful.

You'll love this place near the Vatican
The Vantaggio B&B is in a great location, near the Vatican. Since we planned to visit there several times, it was wonderful to be within easy walking distance. The place was clean and bright and the windows really did keep out the noise from the street below. I only missed having washcloths, not always available in European hotels. Also, it would be nice to have some English language stations available on the TV. I would definitely recommend it, if you can get a reservation at this small place, you'll enjoy the character of the building and the helpfulness of the staff of 2 friendly, English speaking individuals.

Conveniently located
We just finished a 3 night stay at one of Vantaggio's units which was located conveniently only a few blocks to the Vatican. Upon our arrival, we were pleased with the space, furnishings, decor and cleanliness of the unit. A contemporary gem in an ancient city where we felt both comfortable and safe. We were able to walk to each of our intended signts, including the Colosseum which was less than 50 minutes by foot. As well, there were a number of highly rated restaurants near by that met our dining expectations. On our next trip to Italy, we will definitely look to return to a Vantaggio property.

Nice and clean hotel close to the Vatican.
Francesco was very helpful. The hotel has an excellent location close to the Vatican and all restaurants and shop right outside. Tour tickets are also right outside the hotel. Very good value for money. I recommend this for anyone going to the Vatican. Very clean, modern and organized environment. The pictures don't represent how clean the hotel is. I rate it 9.5/10. Recommended to all!

Amazing place to stay!
This apartment is huge, it had 2 large bedrooms and a very comfortable pull out sofa plus kitchen and large eating area. It is literally a block from the Vatican, has a convenience store next door and some amazing restaurants nearby. Super central, just a block from the subway. It was clean, well air conditioned and the host was awesome. I would recommend this, our family of 5 thought it was the best place we stayed in during our European trip. It may not look like much from the outside, but the inside is amazing. Totally renovated, clean and spacious.

Excellent Experience
This was the perfect BnB for our family and travel plans. It was walking distance to the Vatican and just a few blocks from the metro. They had excellent communication even before our arrival. Easy and welcoming staff, Francesco was very friendly and gave us tips on getting around the city. The apartment was beautiful and clean. The bathrooms were great and beds were good. Great air conditioner which was important since it was over 90 degrees when we visited. This apartment is worth every euro.

Great B&B near the Vatican and near a Metro
Arrived late and Francesco was waiting for is and was very helpful (we found the fact he speaks very good English a great help). The room was clean and well decorated. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Good breakfast (very slight niggle was that the coffee was instant but otherwise breakfast good-excellent croissants etc) Thanks for a really lovely break.

Ideal location
Great location with really friendly staff. This B&B is close to the Vatican and provide access to public transport. Within walking distance of central Rome. Provides a comfortable base with plenty of local restaurants close by. Breakfast is simple but very adiquat. Clean and modern rooms and bathrooms at a great price. Thank you to the team at Vantaggio B&B for a great stay.

This is an amazing place to stay in Rome!!!
I was so lucky to found this place to stay in Rome. It is so close to Vatican nearly a couple blocks away. And it also close to Subway station. So I was all set for Rome. The please is very cute and the room is very clean. Everything same like brand news. The stuffs were so like and helpful. It was such a awesome and comfortable please stay in Rome. I am not only will recommend it to my friends, I think I will stay in Vantaggio again.

Great location and close to the Vatican
Great location close to the Vatican and Metro station. Clean room with fabulous rain shower ( no problems with water temperature) Francesco was very helpful and had lots of local knowledge of restaurants. We would definitely return if we came back to Rome.

Very central B&B near Vatican
We had a great stay. Staff were friendly and so accommodating, and they helped us find our way around Rome. The room was clean, new, and very nice. The bathrooms are beautiful. And the breakfast was very good as well.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich nur 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt vom Petersplatz. Das B&B ist zunächst etwas schwer zu finden, weil es (ohne Beschilderung) in einem mehrstöckigem Privathaus untergebracht ist, auf dem lediglich am Klingelschild zu erkennen ist, dass dort ein B&B ist. Die "Wohnung" mit den 3 Gästezimmern befindet sich im 4ten Stock, ein Aufzug ist vorhanden, jedoch muss man erstmal einen 2 stufigen Absatz hoch. Die Zimmer waren ausreichend geräumig und gut ausgestattet, sauber und das Badezimmer war verhältnismäßig groß! Es gibt zwar nur Italienische Sender im Fernseh, aber dafür hat man WLAN. Das einzige, was mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen hat war das italienische Frühstück. Die Teeauswahl beschränkt sich auf grün- und schwarz, und die Croissants sind alle entweder mit Pfirsichmarmelade oder Vanillecreme gefüllt. Keine Wurst/Käse, kein Müsli. Insgesamt kann ich das B&B Vantaggio aber sehr guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Nel complesso un'ottima sistemazione. Uniche pecche il wc incrostato nel fondo e la non chiarezza prezzi: abbiamo prenotato certi di aver la colazione inclusa nel prezzo invece ci siamo ritrovati senza colazione e con 60 euro in piu da pagare per la pulizia finale del locale non preventivate.

Come già delucidato telefonicamente prima del soggiorno è tutto scritto sul sito di prenotazione. Ci dispiace per le lamentele, ma sembra che la bassa stagione non aiuti proprio alcuni ospiti ad essere felici; con una tariffa giornaliera di €65 per 5 persone, (ossia 13€ a persona a notte) in un appartamento nuovo in centro di Roma, alcuni ospiti dovrebbero quantomeno capire la convenienza, invece vorrebbero anche gli fosse incluso il pranzo e la cena. Facciamo presente inoltre che le valigie non dovrebbero essere messe sopra i tavoli da pranzo e sui mobili della casa perché rovinano i mobili stessi e lasciano segni sui muri oltre ad un fattore igienico,; pensiamo e speriamo che nelle vostre case abbiate un minimo di accortezza in più.
