My family and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at Lanuvium, there were 10 of us in total including an infant and 5 children and we all had a really great time! The house is lovely, homely and well equipped and the ample grounds meant the children had fun running around and finding different routes and pathways. The pool is great shallow at one end and very deep at the far end and the outside seating areas provided ample shading to keep them out of the midday sun. It was very hot for our stay and while I don't usually like air-con it was very much appreciated. We did have one day, where the air-con stopped working due to a power cut but this was resolved very quickly. Andrea that manages the property is lovely, I called her a couple of times to ask questions and she was very helpful and great at getting back to me. The walk into town is about 10 minutes down hill and there is a small deli and a handful of restaurants and ice cream parlours, so we didn't need car (we got Carrefour to deliver all of our basics and topped up with fresh ingredients from the town). However if you would like to explore further afield then you definitely would. Also the driveway is a fairly steep walk so if this could be a problem for you then a car would be the best option.
The house was large enough for us all to be able to find a quiet spot if need be and had ample bathrooms so that we could all get ready to get out at the same time. The dining tables (2 outside and 1 inside) were also large enough to accommodate us all which was also a bonus. All in all we had a perfect stay.
