Everything was fine, I am not a very demanding person. I knew that thiat hotel has only 3 stars. I certainly don't deserve more stars. I missed the wireless kettle in my hotel room; it's a shame. The hotel staff did not always willingly help ... The worst thing surprised me was that directly before leaving the hotel and leaving home I received an additional bill to pay which I was not informed about earlier ... 4 Euro extra charge per person per day.    Everyone remember that in Italy they can treat you like this, lie to you about it. This information should be given to you earlier and be included in the price. This is nothing more than misleading tourists ... A very pleasant surprise before leaving the hotel,This happened at the last moment before leaving for the airport.. In addition the receptionist refused me to accept card payments, only cash! Shame ... If I had to write something good about this hotel, only the location is good ...

We do not have kettle in the rooms, it is clearly specified in our hotel features when you make your reservation. It is very close to a metro station stop so that was convenient. The bathroom was clean. The walls of the room was disgusting. The shower head did not work and the tub would not drain properly.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Location was excellent for getting around on foot to see all the sites and lots of restaurants in the locality. 1st Class continental breakfast and service was excellent. Only one small point for improvement is that the general ares could do with a painting - which lets the hotel down.. Otherwise a 1st class accommodation!!

Great staff - Hotel needs updating - Good location
Hotel is overpriced for what it provides. Furnishings were old and very basic. Carpeting in hallways was stained and needed to be replaced. Staff was friendly and accommodating except the woman who served breakfast. She was very unfriendly. Hotel staff constantly turned mini bar fridge off to save electricity, I guess. WiFi was so so! Plenty of hot water and daily sheet and towel change were great. Good location! Laundry right next door!

Rome vacation
Michele at front desk was so very, very helpful and efficient. Location of hotel was excellent for walking and transportation to see the sights. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast selection was decent. Hotel is in an old building (as it was in Rome Center) and hallways needed new carpet. However, our room on the 2nd floor was updated and modern. It was a pleasant surprise that everything worked and was in order - electricity, internet, mini fridge, and all in bathroom. This had not been our experience in other places in Italy that we had stayed at. Suggestions to make guests even more comfortable - a bigger TV, a ledge/shelf in shower for toiletries and a couple of pictures on wall.

This hotel is really close to Termini and about 15-30 min to principal attractions in Rome. The zone is really safe and the hotel is easy to find. The room was really comfortable, the only issue was the bathroom door, it didn't lock but it was ok. The staff is really nice, they were super helpful, and always greet you with a smile. The breakfast they serve is different kinds of bread, ham, cheese, jelly, nutella, coffee, juice, fresh fruit, something to start your day. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Dirty rooms. The placed needs a renovation. They also messed up my reservation. I did not get a double room like I booked. Initially I was placed in a triple while they prepared my room. It had stained sheets and a dirty bathtub. The next day I was moved into a single which was too small. We I complained they said every other room was booked. The shower floor was full of hairs. The room had pipes running through it that made constant loud gurgling sounds preventing me from sleeping. I also spotted a cockroach. When I complained again in the morning the concierge said he couldn't offer any refund since I had paid online but said he could give me 3 beers for the road which was insulting. The only positives are that the hotel is close to Termini station and they offer free breakfast.

First, the entire staff needs to be recognized for doing an excellent job! From the front desk, to the breakfast attendant, to the cleaning/maintenance staff… Everyone was so courteous, helpful, and friendly. They really made us feel like valued guests. The Hotel Centro staff sets the standard for how all hotels should be run. The location is perfect. You are in walking distance to almost everything. The price is unbeatable. The property is older. But with that being said, the place has character. It’s clean, the beds are comfortable, there was enough storage/closet space, the hot water and water pressure were always spot on, and there was an ample amount of towels and extra bedding. We really couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Near termini station, shops and restaurants. The hotel is a little old but the room was always clean and I had a nice little balcony. The breakfast is good enough. The staff were very friendly, specially Mateo and Alberto. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Rome.

The hotel fee or tax had to be paid in cash and I wish they would have told us before checkout. Last minute we had to find and exchange for EUR. They however asked and offered if we needed transportation before our checkout.

The location was great. The front desk is 24 hours (but you probably will wake up the front desk agent if you leave early in the morning.) He seemed pretty grumpy and came from somewhere in back. This was an okay place to stay for just a few nights.

The staff were great. They were informative and helpful. We stayed there 9 nights and they consistently greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. Whether it was how to get around in Rome, suggesting a good restaurant, or telling us all about the "most important place in Rome" or other historical "must see" places, they were great. The facilities are "well worn" but taken care of. The breakfast bar was standard continental and well tended. It's a 5 min walk from the train station and subway, and within 20 mins walking a lot of great stuff (San Giovani, Coliseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and nice park). We felt it was definitely worth the value and a big part of our enjoyment of Rome.

Perfect and safe location, in the city center , staff was very nice and welcoming, they let us check in early morning and were helpful providing answers to our questions and assistance when we needed. Hotel is clean , overall a pleasant stay , considering the ratio price quality I would come back next time I am in Rome !

Every Staff we met in the hotel was nice. The room itself and facilities were old, but they were cleaned very well so quite satisfied for it’s price. The room key was a old fashioned style with room power key combined. Therefore, our family couldn’t go out separately. It might be better to have some kind of “spare key” from the beginning.

Martina Latham. Very good location. Walking distance to the train terminal to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and very close to Via Nazionale with a lots of restaurants and shops. The service is excellent and very good breakfast every day. All the staff was very polite and in our 10 days stay in the hotel we were very pleasant.
