My girlfriend and I headed to Rome knowing it would be expensive so we wanted to find reasonably priced accommodation knowing full well that we would not be spending much time in it anyway. This type of accommodation seemed right up our street with decent reviews and it was how we expected. I cannot complain at all, our room was clean, fairly spacious and the staff were helpful, it's a small family run B&B, brekkie is basic, continental, tea/coffee, biscuits with jam and a croissant, for the price you can't complain if you're visiting Rome to get out and about then you'll be grateful for a free cup of tea in the morning, we were. Location is spot on, the center of Rome is very busy so it was nice to go back to somewhere slightly outside, a short bus ride away and right on the doorstep of the Vatican City, there are a few shops and restaurants nearby, a lovely Italian restaurant yards away which we ate in twice. If you like your hotel chains then stay in one of those but if you want more of a cultural experience then stay in a place like this.
