"I love this hotel's location on the beach and in the heart of the bars and restaurants that i enjoy. I don't get the "all inclusive" package because there are so many options off property. I remember 30 years ago it looked a bit tired, and it still is a bit tired with."good enough" repairs evident in and it of the unit. But, i find it comfortable, quiet, good a/c, acceptable water pressure and hot water. The staff is very pleasant. The restaurant Maximilian out front is very good and reasonably priced for breakfast or a gourmet dinner. My only complaint is that the limited number of pool chairs are reserved or otherwise "claimed" early each morning. "

"Location is great, just a few minutes walk to the pier. Across from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. Make sure you have information on checking in as front door is locked and there is no "front desk" to speak of. Make sure there is someone at the office to open the front door for you when you check in. Message Amapas to get their info. Maid service is only once a week on Mondays but you can request extra towels as well. Great value for location and a one bedroom unit with living area and kitchen as well. Small balcony with partial view of the ocean."
