OCEANVIEW Waves - North Wimble Shores - The lure of the sea, the sun, the sand, and the charm of Hatteras Island are SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE, and this delightful home sets them all off to full advantage with two oceanside decks and impressive views. On the ground level is a game room with foosball and a large screen TV, plus two bedrooms that share a full bath. The mid level features two master bedrooms that lead to the hot tub and a screened porch. The top floor great room has pretty views, vaulted ceilings and a powder room. Within walking distance to Barton's Hole - prime windsurfing and kiteboarding location.

Just what we were looking for

Great location. 5 minute walk to beach. Short drive to a few small stores. Quite area. Pool and Hot tub were top notch. House was comfortable, well set up and nicely equipped. We would undoubtedly go back.

Good family place

House provided everything we needed, but some things were run down. Outside porch furniture probably needs to be replaced, rusted out. Drain was a bit slow. The private pool was a definite plus. Surf and sound property management communication was solid.

Great location, great property.

Everything was wonderful. Our only complaint was that the refrigerator was not cleaned upon our arrival and one of the closets with the queen bed had dead bugs in it. Also, neither of the vacuums worked well, even after emptying the filters. Otherwise, a great house overall.

Good property for the value

The house and the location were good. The only thing missing from the listing was the grill. We contacted the managing office and were suppose to have this fixed but it did not happend while we were there. Overall it is good property.

good location, great views, quiet street, close proximity to activities

The house was in good condition. Some of the outdoor furniture was worn out and some chairs were broken. The screened porch had screen missing. In one of the master bedrooms, the shower curtain had black mold on it, the bathroom sink would not drain and the overhead lights did not work. The fan in the other master bedroom is swinging/loose. The sliding door in living room did not want to close. The glass top for the dining room table was cracked and chipped. The house simply needs some repairs but overall it was a good house. Would consider staying there again.

Raincoat needed

The home was nice But all the drains including shower,sinks etc. drained poorly We had to plunge the showers to get them to empty, The refrigerator would not keep anything cold we actually had lunch meat and milk spoil.

Just right

Everything went very smoothly. The house was great within walking distance of the beach. The kitchen was a bit small but the pool and the decks made up for that.

Perfect house with great pool and decks

We only had one problem and it was with the realty company - Surf or Sound Realty. Some previous tenant had disconnected the DVD player from the TV and taken the wires. We called the realty company and they sent a technician out, but he had the wrong wire and said he'd return right away with the right one. He never came back. So the house has an impressive library of DVDs but no way to watch them!

Great!

Close walk to beach! Nice size pool and first rental we’ve stayed at that the hot tube worked. Kids loved the ice cream truck and the short walk to Dairy Queen with a view of the sound while they ate it. Great time!
