"I loved all the little details. Down to the carving of horses on the side of the bunk beds. The general mercantile is walking distance with great food and coffee. I wish I could have stayed longer but it was a work trip."

"Access to the pool and hot tub should start at 9:00, and not 10:00 as there is no time to use either before the checkout at 11:00. The front staff checkout manager was very helpful and when out of her way he made all accommodations possible"
"Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is a beautiful place nestled between two mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and the bathrooms had enough towels. Our room had a full kitchenette which makes in handy to get your own groceries instead of eating at a restaurant everyday. I noticed a lot of families there which makes it a nice experience. They even were prompt at replacing a couple lightbulbs that burnt out in one of the bedrooms. I used the gym which has a fair amount of equipment including cardio but the majority of the equipment is old for today’s standards but still does the job. There’s also a pool and hot tub inside the resort with an additional hot tub outside. There’s a shuttle that leaves the resort at designated times to take us to downtown Banff which is 5 minutes away. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes there even off of Banff Avenue (downtown), so you won’t be disappointed. From the downtown, you can take the Roam Transit buses to where you want to do some hiking, biking, etc…. Overall, the experience visiting Banff Alberta for the first time was phenomenal!! We will definitely go back again!!"
"The lodge actually felt fairly new. The Eatery was close enough to walk with several choices. You’re there for the outdoor view, but no TV in the room is a little spartan and the WiFi doesn’t have nearly enough bandwidth for the property. Thus, can’t stream (or do anything else for that matter) either. No cell, no WiFi."
"Staff was super friendly. The restaurant had good food but service was very slow. The waiter was super nice but we had to flag them down to order, to get more drinks and to get the check. Location to town was perfect. Bus stop was right out front but the walk wasn't bad either."
"What a stunning hotel! Walkable in to the centre of Banff and the hot pool is lovely to wind down at the end of the day. The room was spotless and parking is underground and safe. We loved our stay here."
"Clean rooms! Room service done every 3 days. Would’ve preferred to have breakfast included in the stays. However there is a restaurant next door that provides a 15% discount"
"I was very impressed with our rooms and the breakfast buffet in the morning. It's definitely a family friendly spot. Maybe not a place you want to go if you're trying to stay away from kids. Overall the staff was amazing and I was very happy with our decision to stay here."
