Beautiful Home
This home was beautiful and met all of our needs. 2 generously sized bedrooms, a very comfortable living room, and an accommodating kitchen and dining room. The decor was great - like out of a magazine. Definitely enjoyed staying there. There was one rather small drawback and that was that there was only one bathroom. It would have been helpful to have a second, however, we did fine with one. We would rent this place again if we were planning to stay in Rochester.

Great space, but if you struggle walking or in a wheelchair access is challenging. The bed is incredibly comfortable. I would check to see if anyone is staying above you. We were lucky with only one day with someone above us. You can hear the people above…someone was up at 4:30am! But a spacious comfortable setting.

We helped our son move to Rochester for graduate school at Mayo - this location and configuration was perfect for providing a place for him to stay with us until his apartment was ready. The lovely furnishings are accurately depicted in the photos!

Excellent, home-like comfort for testing at Mayo. Enjoyed a walk and picnic at the quarry hill nature center nearby, saved money for meals by shopping at hyvee nearby. Deb is an excellent hostess, available when we call and accommodating.

25 Year Reunion
I drive up from IL and my friend drive down from northern MN and we stayed the weekend in Rochester to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a trip to Europe. In 1997, we backpacked through 13 European countries, making a million memories which we documented in journals and taking just as many pictures. This past weekend in Rochester we read our journals to one another, laughed until we cried, poured through pictures, and had an amazing time reminiscing. The VRBO was the perfect place to hang out and catch up with an old friend. Beautiful location, very safe, clean, and the perfect fit for our needs. Excellent/high quality amenities (soaps, shampoos, body wash, lotions, detergent, etc).

Wedding cake preparation paradise
I rented both units at this property and it was perfect for my family. I needed ample kitchen space to decorate a wedding cake and 200 cupcakes for my nieces wedding. This property did not disappoint. Spacious, clean, good neighborhood, comfy beds and a responsive host. Highly recommend!

This is even nicer then the pictures show. We had an issue with the heat when first checked in. Owner was on it right away. It’s a lovely place and has everything you need! The downside of s that I fell on the Ice path to go around the house to entry. The owner should have taken care of the snow/ ice with shoveling more and salt. Would stay here again.

Couples weekend stay
This was a beautifully decorated house. WE stayed for a concert on Friday and went tubing Saturday. We had 6 couples and every couple had a bedroom. The beds were so comfy. There was so much room to move about with 12 people. We grilled on Saturday night and played games. Definitely would recommend! The only thing was the early check out. 10 am is a little early. Having an extra hour would be great with a large group like us.

This is a great apartment for a short getaway. It’s locate just minutes from Mayo Clinic in a great neighborhood. The owner/manager was very responsive and the apartment was exactly as described in the listing. I would definitely stay in this apartment again!!

We were very pleased the pictures matched the actual property! Our Landlord, Deb was quick to respond when we had questions. For anyone who needs a great place to stay that is clean, accessible and roomy, I would recommend this unit! If we need to come back again, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Once upon a time this was a beautiful place
Nicely appointed and well supplied apartment. Too bad the Floor was dirty and carpet was stained. Couch and chairs had torn upholstery. Brick sidewalk and entrance were sloped downward, ice covered and slippery every morning and after a snow. The entry is dangerous in winter. No handrails. Apartment was cold and Heat was controlled by owner. Owner invites texts yet was unresponsive until complaint was made. This was unfavorable situation right down to the plastic mattress pad on the king bed!

I’m not sure what is wrong with these individuals but they waited until the 4th day of their stay to complain about anything. There is a thermostat in the hallway which is illuminated so how they missed this I cannot understand. On the front page of the welcome book it clearly states that the thermostat can be easily adjusted to their desired temperature. I absolutely think these people are scammers; I hope others can avoid renting to them based on my comments!!!. I am always, without fail, available to help with any issue. There was one snowfall during their stay which was less than 1/2 inch and melted the very next morning. The rest of their stay was 45-60 degrees and sunny so I’m not sure where they can claim icy conditions. I have a snow removal service but they do not come if it is under an inch. I also provide shovels outside the door for these situations. But again, if they had contacted me at any point I certainly would’ve taken care of it for them. I also offered them a full refund for their remaining days. I even offered to find them a hotel. They didn’t respond to either of my offerings. And, they chose to stay at the home they apparently found so unappealing. There was definitely something very suspect about these individuals. Hosts beware of this couple!

The downstairs rental was super cute and looked just like the pictures. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because it was not real safe getting down to it. Very uneven bricks to walk on, (my shoe got hooked and I fell, bloody knee) and trellis we had to walk under was broken and falling down. Needs to be fixed or redone.

Wonderful stay!
Beautiful rental with lots of accommodations near Mayo. Property manager is very kind and nice to work with. I had to give 3 stars overall because I did not get much sleep. Whoever stays upstairs seems to be up much of the night- and you can hear EVERY footstep, toilet flush, laundry machine, etc. if you are a heavy sleeper like my husband, this shouldn’t be an issue. Just a fair warning. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. We knew there was no traditional stove available but the cooking options were phenomenal. It has a grill on the patio outside, an induction cook top, an electric skillet and an extensive supply of quality cookware. The apartment common areas (eating, dining, livingroom) are spacious and comfortable.

Comfortable, affordable, beautiful accommodations. However, owner/mgr needs to address a few issues ASAP. Electrical short inside refrigerator (internal light fixture) is a safety and fire hazard. Rigs in master bedroom need to be separated to remove tripping hazard, and exterior shrubs and gardening needs to be trimmed/maintained. I had to trim thorny overgrowth blocking arbor walkway to avoid getting stuck.

My friend and I were staying here for a mini vacation and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with this property. Everything was put together so well and it all looked amazing. We were really impressed with how thoughtful each detail was. Everything was clean and the beds and couches were comfortable. It was about 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do and we got some good recommendations from the binder with local recommendations in it. We were very impressed with our stay and would come back again!

Very nice accommodations located is a safe, lovely neighborhood. Be aware, both the upper and lower levels are available for VRBO rental. We could hear the guests upstairs walking, Kids running, heard the 3 year old crying, etc. Fortunately the commotion ended by 10PM and didn’t start up again til around 6:00 AM We were fine with it but others might find it to be distracting. The back yard was very nice - we used the grill and the fire pit. Good space.

Stunning & Cozy Apartment Home!
Often it is difficult to find a place that is both stunning AND comfortable, but this place is both! The decor is inviting and the furniture is cozy. We appreciated the toys that were neatly tucked away, but easily accessible when one of my young sons came to play between his wrestling matches at the State tournament. The treadmill was awesome for me since I am in the midst of training for a half marathon. The location was perfect! So close to the location of the tournament, and many restaurants and coffee shops. I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Rochester. Can’t wait to stay again!

Gorgeous basement apartment, but unfortunately too noisy for us
This basement apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a very cute neighborhood. Communication was great and check in was easy. The host provided dishes, silverware, coffee, towels, and more to make our stay comfortable. However, my Mom is disabled (we were in town for a Mayo Clinic appointment) and the entrance to the apartment is not wheelchair accessible- I guess this is my fault for not asking ahead of time. We also ended up leaving a day early because of the noise from upstairs. My Mom and I had a difficult time falling asleep with footsteps, thumping, and what sounded like running upstairs that went on until about 10pm and started up again around 6- 6:30am. You can also hear noise all during the day as well. If you're a heavy sleeper and don't mind upstairs noise, than this is a wonderful rental for you, but unfortunately it was too noisy for us.

Nice place not a far drive from Mayo Clinic. Well equipped and pretty. Lovely neighborhood. Very helpful and thoughtful owner. Only thing we didn’t like was it was over air conditioned so we were cold and we could hear the family walking and talking above us. But we would stay there again!

Deb's Place is Perfect!
Beautiful home (entire basement converted into a modern-condo feel with lots of light.) Terrific access, amenities, privacy, flexible terms, great location - loved it so much we tagged an extra couple days onto our stay and Deb graciously accommodated us. Two beautiful bedrooms and most of a kitchen, so a small family would do fine. The pictures don't do it justice - treat yourself! We were celebrating 2 years healthy after wife's open heart surgery, couldn't have been happier. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was comfortable, clean and so relaxing to be able to stay for a few days while waiting for tests at Mayo Clinic. The bedrooms were large and the bedding and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom has a large shower and stocked with ample towels, shampoos and body wash (if you forgot yours ). Everything is exactly as pictured and described. Checking in and checking out was easy and our privacy was respected. We would definitely choose this location again when coming to Rochester! The kitchen has adequate cookware, but there are no condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayo, sugar, etc..that type of thing if you plan on doing any of your own cooking. There is a Hy-Vee grocery store just a short distance away. This location even has a washer/dryer, dishwasher. Our stay ended up being longer and we wished that we could’ve stayed at this location the entire time but was rented after our initial dates. We would’ve liked to have stayed!! Thank you Den for such a great, comfortable stay!

Wonderful rental in a great location!
We recently stayed for 5 weeks while taking my son to Mayo. The trip was only supposed to be 4 weeks but had to extend a week and Deb was very accommodating to extend it for us! The apartment is very spacious and there was plenty of room for two adults and a teenage boy. She has everything you could need while you are there, including spices and coffee. The only down side is the master is under the kitchen of the main house and it can be a bit loud if there is a lot going on upstairs. But Deb does keep the renters upstairs to a curfew of 10pm and will make sure to deal with any problems if they occur. There is a binder with all pertinent information needed for the apartment and also lots of great suggestions for restaurants and outings in the Rochester area. I definitely would recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay for a long period in Rochester.

My only complaint would be with VRBO...in that(especially, Rochester, Mn) where your stay is a little questionable because of hospitalization, surgery, etc. and your family member is dismissed from the hospital but you don’t get the unused days of stay refunded.

Perfect For Our Visit To Rochester
My wife and I were at the Mayo Clinic for a comprehensive evaluation over the course of a few days. We were trying to avoid a hotel and the busy area immediately around the Mayo Clinic. This rental was perfect for us. 10-15 minute ride to the Damon Parking Garage which is connected to Mayo (get there before 8 a.m. for the best chance at a parking spot). This rental was spacious, modern, relaxing, and felt like a home away from home at the end of a busy day. Located in a nice neighborhood. I use this website a lot and you will not find a more attentive landlord. Deb was terrific.
