Magnificent little house, gîte, well located

  • Description: We are in Rochefort du Gard, (5 min. From Avignon, by bus 15 min.) Very well located for the Avignon Festival and for visiting all of Provence. Le Pont du Gard, Orange, Nîmes, the Beaux de Provence, St. Rémy en Provence, Ile sur Sorgues, Camargue, les Plages, Pretty house of 48 m², renovated in 2019, adjoining the main building, with a large secure swimming pool (9. 20 m by 4. 00 m), closed at night, to share only with the owners.
    The house is air conditioned, it consists
    a bedroom with a 160x200 double bed, a living room with a convertible sofa bed for 2, baby bed on request, TV (TNT), flat screen, fully equipped kitchen, except dishwasher.
    Laundry room, private terrace, plancha,
    large table, deckchairs, pergola. On a plot of 2100 m²,
    Electric gate. Children's chair, bikes, games on site.
    Bus station for Avignon 1 min. Linens, pool towels SUPPLIED! Cleaning fee 40 €. We speak GERMAN, ENGLISH and ITALIAN.
    We have a dog (German Shepherd), he is very nice and two cats (outside).

This one's on the 'MUST GO BACK' list.

Upon arrival, we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, Fabrice & Alexandra, who gave us time to unpack & then invited us to join them for a drink on the terrace. The accommodation is superb. Comfortable, clean and well equipped, plus ideally located for visting the surrounding areas due to excellent road links. The garden around the property is just incredible ... you have your own outside space but there are also lots of break out areas, which allow privacy, but also communal areas where you can socialise with the family if you wish. The pool is outstanding and was very much appreciated during the heat of the day. Fabrice & Alexandra are excellent hosts, not just by giving us great tourist advice, but by being such genuinely lovely people. We did not just have a holiday here, we were made to feel so comfortable and have made some new friends who we will be visiting again in the future.

Perfect location, gîte and hosts!

There's nothing to say other than that this is the best place we've ever stayed and we wish we'd had three weeks instead of two. The photos don't do it justice, especially as there is now a totally retractable pool cover and the garden is lovely. Total privacy together with many options for relaxing, including a table under the shade, sunlounges and sunbeds. The pool, which is kept at a very comfortable 30 degrees, is in front of the owners' house, but this isn't inhibiting at all. We spent several days lying around the pool. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and we had many opportunities to chat and share a drink. We thought Junior (a German Shepherd) and the cats were lovely. Very well equipped and decorated. Everything worked well. Easy parking inside. Very good location for exploring from the Camargue to the fishing villages east of Marseille and up into the pretty villages of Provence. We can't recommend all this enough!

A fabulous place to stay with the added bonus of lovely owners

From the moment we arrived we knew that this was going to be the ideal place for our ten day visit. Once we had freshened up we joined Fabrice and Alexandra who had invited us for a glass of wine and a beer. They made us feel very welcome from the first moment we met. They also provided us with all the local knowledge we needed to enjoy our stay. The property was clean, well equipped, cared for and gave us everything we needed. We were able to cook and eat outside as the weather during our stay was perfect. The pool was covered at night which means even if the temperature outside drops it is possible to swim late into the evening. And as soon as the cover is pulled back in the morning the pool temperature is perfect for an early morning dip. There was more than ample seating both in the sun or shade by our Gite, in the garden and by the pool, as well as plenty of loungers. Ideal for those relaxing days. The location, too, was perfect for exploring the region. There are so many things to do in this part of France we are sure that we will return to this area one day, and indeed this property providing it is available. I look forward to being able visiting again in either the spring or summer months as I am sure that we would see some fabulous colours. The family have a lovely dog called Junior who looked as sad as I felt when we had to say goodbye. We would like to take this opportunity thank Fabrice, Alexandra, Floren and Junior for a great holiday.

Un hébergement parfait avec tout le nécessaire. La piscine magnifique et le jardin bien entretenu invitent à la détente. Le lit était très confortable, assurant des nuits reposantes. Mais le plus grand atout, c’est sans doute notre hôte : incroyablement sympathique, amusant et facile à vivre avec son grand coeur – on se sent vraiment accueilli et bien accompagné. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Cher Fabrice, un grand merci du fond du coeur !

Vivons heureux en Provence

Nous avons vraiment réjoui nos vacances chez Fabrice en Provence. A moins d’une heure de l’Ardèche, du Mont Ventoux et de la Camargue, on ne peut pas être mieux situé. La maison est bien équipée, surtout à l’extérieur, aussi bien à la terrasse propre, qu’autour de la piscine. Fabrice est un excellent hôte avec plein d’idées sur ce qu’il faut visiter, où aller manger ou déguster du vin.

Un super séjour !

Nous avons séjourné 15 jours chez Fabrice et Alexandra où nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances. La convivialité est le maître mot ! Des hôtes aux petits soins pour leurs locataires et une belles régions à visiter. La location est par ailleurs tres bien équipée.En bref, nous y reviendrons certainement !

Alles perfekt

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Auch die schöne Terrasse mit Grill und der Garten mit Pool sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlen kann. Alexandra und Fabrice sind perfekte Gastgeber. Belle petite maison avec jardin et piscine

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, avec pleins de visites des alentours quotidiennes. Fabrice et Alexandra sont top, super accueil, généreux et serviables toujours pleins de conseils pour le bons plans ! Maison très bien situé, agréable, jardin avec des espaces pour la détente, piscine très agréable aussi. Leur 3 chiens sont gentils comme tout !

Parfait

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour. La maisonnette pleins pieds est magnifique et fonctionnelle. La terrasse est spacieuse, tout le mobilier est de qualité. La piscine est également parfaite. Et que dire de nos hôtes ??? Alexandra et Fabrice sont des personnes adorables, accueillants, serviables et généreux. Ils feront tout pour que votre séjour ce passe bien. Un spécial merci à Fabrice pour sa bonne humeur et sa convivialité avec qui nous avons passé des apéros super sympa "à refaire le monde". MERCI POUR TOUT! Tage voller Aktivitäten und Erholung

Das Gästehaus von Alexandra und Fabrice ist komplett und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das gilt für die Küche sowie auch für den Aussenbereich. Der grosse Garten mit den schattenspendenden Bäumen und dem grossen Pool laden zum Verweilen auch bei heissem Wetter ein. X-zählige Liegen und Stühle stehen im Garten für das Geniessen eines Apéro unter freiem Himmel bereit. Um wichtige news zu sehen, befindet sich ein grosser TV im Wohnzimmer. Das wichtigste Detail dieser Liegenschaft sind jedoch die Gastgeber. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute wohl behütet und betreut. Herzlichen Dank Alexandra und Fabrice!!!

Savoir-vivre

Das Ferienhaus ist top ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Fabrice und Alexandra sind sehr gastfreundlich. Es war eine Freude mit ihnen Kontakt zu haben. Es leben drei Hunde bei Fabrice und Alexandra. Sie sind alle sehr freundlich und sind es gewohnt Urlauber auf dem Grundstück zu empfangen. Es gab keinerlei Probleme. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Avignon und die Provence

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Ferienhaus mit sehr gastfreundlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermietern. Sie haben uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat unterstützt. Die Deutschkenntnisse und die Tips zur Erkundung der Provence waren sehr hilfreich. Vielen Dank Alexandra und Fabrice. Das Ferienhaus war der ideale Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der verschiedenen Orte der Provence.

A wonderful holiday

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this attractive and well-equipped gite. There is comfortable outdoor seating and the swimming pool was lovely. Fabrice and Alexandra were delightful, welcoming us warmly and always helpful. They kindly provide much needed support when we had a major problem with our hire car. There is lots to do in the area, with Avignon, Arles and other historical cities within easy reach. We are interested in birds and enjoyed visiting the Carmague, in particular seeing lots of flamingos in the parc ornithogique at Pont de Gau and we went on an excellent boat trip from Saintes Maries de la Mer. Another favourite was the astonishing cave paintings in the Grotte Cosquer at Marseille. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much, Fabrice and Alexandra.

Trois semaines dans un coin de paradis à "la Louviane"

Gite très sympathique et fonctionnel dans un univers de verdure, espace vegetalise appréciable, au calme d'où se dégage la sérénité qui permet de se ressourcer. La piscine pourvue d'éléments pour la détente au soleil ou à l'ombre, permet de goûter la fraîcheur et faire quelques brasses. Je saluerai particulièrement la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires qui sans nous importuner savaient au bon moment trouver les mots justes. Leurs trois chiens sont adorables.. Si vous n'aimez pas la gente canine il est peu probable que l'endroit soit idéal. Avons donc passé trois belles semaines et un renouvellement de l'expérience serait plutôt à envisager.

Merveilleux

Un séjour inoubliable, dans une région splendide riche de découvertes. Les conseils avisés de Fabrice nous ont permis de profiter des meilleures caves aux alentours et des meilleures adresses de restaurants toutes gammes. Nous avons rencontré un couple très sympathique, plein de gentillesse et d attention pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréable. Le gîte est restauré avec beaucoup de goûts avec une piscine et tous les équipements pour la détente, encore plus beau que sur les photos. Tous ces points positifs nous ont permis de faire la promotion de cette adresse à nos proches ,
