Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel offers both a relaxing weekend vibe and a packed city break experience.
Shopping centre is really close as well as many restaurants and takeaways. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Rooms provide helpful conveniences like hairdryer and fridge. Love that you can always top up your tea/coffee/sugar/milk supply whereas in some hotels you have to just make do with whatever they provide on the first day of your stay.
I’ve actually stayed in this hotel more than 3 times over the last 18 months.
Spa is also great! The pool area is usually quiet which maintains the relaxed atmosphere of the overall hotel.
Only things to change is, would be nicer to have more breakfast options for people who have a vegetarian diet or would prefer things like halal options. The other issue is - I think - every time I stayed in the hotel, there’s a limitation on how high you can put your heater in the room. 21° is not really that warm. We’ve had to call the reception team about this on multiple occasions when staying at the hotel. They did provide an oil heater, but it didn’t really do much because it kept going off every so often.
I would like to say thank you to one of the reception staff who let us park our car in the hotel car park which is not something usually that the hotel provide. I’d also like to say thank you to the man signing people in for breakfast for reserving a table for us. I’m completely blind and I think he did this to make life a lot more accessible. "
