"We had a lovely stay at Podere La Sterza. The property was clean and well appointed. The pool area in particular is great for kids! Our hosts were very gracious to drive us to Pisa when our car broke down, so that went beyond our expectations. Recommended!"

"You get rentals set up to make money & those where the property is a one off that the owner has lived in. This is very much the latter & renovated with beautiful taste.Finding it was easy: The green door, left of “Locanda del Gallo”restaurant.First impression: WOW. The porch has a breathtaking view of the valley. You then go through secure doors which lead to big beautiful authentic renovated rooms. A studio, 2 double beds, a kitchen, dining table & lounge. Views: stunning from all rooms but especially the porch & kitchen.Bedrooms: large, high ceilings, comfortable, tastefully furnished & with a great mattresses. Slept well throughout. Would also say the linens etc are good quality.Kitchen: my favourite room in the house. Double aspect with breathtaking views. An expensive kitchen, Really really well equipped. (There was a normal kettle, loose tea kettle, coffee maker & an induction expresso coffee maker. WOW).Lounge: huge room big tv and very comfortable. Again high standard of tasteful decoration.Bathrooms: 2. Small but well equipped & tastefully set up.Other things: WiFi was good, local restaurants & shops are in walking distance. Parking was a bit tricky but you get used to it.An added bonus was Laura the host. I found her the best ever host I have had on VRBO. She had a suggestion to ever need, including finding a neighbour to take one of our group to Pisa airport. I hope to visit again one day. Many thanks to Laura for making it special"

"We spent a month in Chianni and this apartment and we loved everything about it. The deck has the most beautiful view with lounge chairs for relaxing and a lovely table and chairs under a covered porch where we spent many night playing cards and eating pizza from Anna’s Bar. "Excellent villa and very well equipped. The pool is lovely and the bedrooms are a nice size and everything is of a high standard and very clean. Francesca is very responsive to any comments. Because of the heatwave there were a lot of flies but a call to Francesca resulted in a very speedy garden treatment. The scenery is fantastic and would definitely consider again."

"If I could leave 10 stars, I would. We have stayed in countless vacation homes across the United States and Europe and this place is in our top three ever! It is simply magical. The grounds are immaculate. The kids loved the pool and adults all the outdoor space and views. The house is the perfect balance of old charm and modern convenience. Giacomo had done an excellent job designing every detail. He was an excellent host - had great dining and travel suggestions that we followed and loved. We also loved seeing his dad in the mornings as he does the ground keeping. Overall I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We are back in Rome now before we head back to Chicago and all my kids can talk about is how much they miss the “Tuscany house.”Book this beautiful house now!
