" Great little place! We travel up here every year in fall to spend a long weekend of doing very little. This cabin was pretty comfortable compared to a few we’ve stayed in. We mostly cook our meals and the cook ware was adequate which is about all you can ask for in a cabin. I’ve learned over the years to pack the things that I know I’ll need to cook the meals I plan but about the only thing I would have needed here would have been my knife. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Hot tub was nice and clean. Lots of little well thought out amenities as well. We Love being able to bring our dog with us. All in all a great quiet weekend away. "

"The view was outstanding and the house immaculately wonderful with all the Vrbo items you would expect. An excellent place to stay with multiple adults. The lower level was well situated for sleeping and bathing with three separate sleeping areas/rooms.We found some nice restaurants from family friendly lunch spots, to a great menu bar and an upscale bistro with outstanding service and food.A waitress at the bar directed us to Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Dunes State Park six miles in on a dirt road to a place where, in the middle of the day in mid-October, we could let the pup "hunt" during our walk through the wooded path to the Lake Michigan beach. There he had fun crashing into the water like it was a toy.We also enjoyed the Mason County Picnic area that featured not one, but three Frisbie Golf courses in a golf-course like gassy setting along the bottom of one side of the Hydro Reservoir. Again, no one there this time of year and we gave free reign to the pup. This place is about 1/2 mile from the house. The only down-side is that the house is situated on a immense Vertical Cliff going straight down at least a hundred yards, dangerously not fenced or extensively marked. We were very careful to keep the dogs away on the large lawn between the house and the ledge. "

"Very clean rooms with the basic necessities; mini fridge, microwave, tv with a lot of options for streaming and live tv. A/C worked well. Water in shower gets plenty hot. You can tell the owners and cleaning staff care about their work. Front desk staff was prompt and friendly. "
