There is a long enclosed porch which is ideal for relaxing, giving you a place to chill out when you’ve had too much sun or want to listen to the breezes on a rainy day.
The wooded lot has a great fire pit and chairs to make every night cozy. Use the gas grill to make burgers the whole family will enjoy as they share a meal around the party size wooden picnic table.
There is room to park your boat or snowmobile trailer as well as your car or truck.
Private access to gorgeous 400 acre all sports Wolf Lake is right across the street. You can sit at the kitchen table and view the lake. This lake is shallow for a distance, making it ideal for supervised play for your younger children. The public boat launching area is directly adjacent to the property’s lake access. A second fire pit is also on this access area.
Due to the rustic nature of this cabin, we would advise packing slippers and warm cozy pajamas , as it will feel very cold if you are not prepared for it during the winter months.

This charming lakeside community features stunning scenery and a one-of-a-kind, comfortable cabin. While it doesn’t have air conditioning or Wi-Fi, the focus is on enjoying the great outdoors with family. I would happily stay here again.
We planed a girls weekend away and had the best time! It was a cute little cabin with a great clean area by the beach! It was a great get away and many memories were made! Would 100% book a weekend again!
Beautiful rustic cabin. Awesome lake view! All the necessities, comfortable beds and furniture. Overall great experience, will be staying here for years to come!
The property was clean and close to the lake. It was very spacious and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. Jim and Shawna were gracious host and easy to talk to. Shawna instructions were easy to understand.
Very nice Rustic Cabin, Great kitchen nicely furnished.
Bathrooms. are clean with plenty of Hot water. Living Room has a very nice Fireplace that made the cold evenings very pleasant.
Such a cute cabin with plenty of room for myself, my husband, our 4 girls (ages 10,9,5,2) and our 2 medium sizes pups. Unfortunately we picked a chilly weekend in mid august but made the best of it and still had an awesome time. I loved the privacy by the lake. Such a cute cabin and beach area, would highly recommend. We willi definitely be back!
Cozy cottage had everything we needed and allowed us to bring our pups! Really enjoyed the shallow, sandy bottom lake and kayaks. Neighborhood was very nice. We brought bikes and enjoyed riding around the entire lake. Beds were a bit too firm for me and hubby but kids didnt seem to mind it. Was able to mirror screen my samsung phone to their samsung tv to watch movies on a rainy evening. Very enjoyable stay.
Was not there for lake activities, ORV activities. House is just a short drive to the trails and everyone seems very welcoming to the ORV people. Pros, gracious owners who open their property up to guests and pets. I made sure mine were on there best behavior and I picked up all there poop. House was cool, log cabin, bear doors, unique door locks with wood sliding bolts.Cons. No WiFi, I missed in listing. I stayed across the lake last fall and they had great WiFi. Wanted a fire but both fire pits had lots of limbs. Used my Weber grill for the marshmallow.
From the minute we arrived to regretfully having to leave we had a fabulous time. The cabin is so cute with so many nooks and crannies, nick knacks and decorations were everywhere. Everything we needed for meals and the bon fire pits are amazing. Lots of room for sitting and relaxing. Perfect location close to water with easy access to beach, and trails for walking and riding so close. Cant wait to come back in summer to be able to use beach more fully. We had so troublt figuring out heater but owners were in touch immediately and helped is figure it out.
We had fun using the kayaks. The lake had a alot of weeds and mucky bottom so some of us didn't go out to far. There was not a dock so we couldn't fish off that and tie our floaties off. The TV didn't work so the owners bought a new one and if you have a hotspot you could use it. You should really get Wifi! And have a couple window air conditioners because it really gets hot and muggy in the cabin. Overall we had a good time and the place is clean. Also you should let people have a small camper on property for more family to come and enjoy this wonderful spot.
We thought this house gave the vibe of a gnome/fairy house. So much character and truly gives the feeling/has to be a long standing family house with the details that make it feel homey. Such great hosts that were super quick with their communication. It’s in need of a good deep clean. Under the bed, along the wood walls and ceiling, cobwebs etc. I also think a welcome guide is always beneficial. Just a simple note explaining which keys go to where, recommendations on food and activities in the area, check out guide etc. We were so grateful for the three floor fans and the fact that they had loaded both fire pits with wood!! the kayaks are the perfect touch. such sweet neighbors!! we could definitely return.
We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. The cabin was spotless, the lake was perfect for my 3 year old and 11 month old to splash around in, very shallow and clean. My 3 year old loved fishing from shore. He was able to catch and release a lot of small fish which made his entire weekend. The only thing I would have to recommend is providing plug-in fans since there is no AC. I read the reviews prior to booking and was worried about the heat, especially at night. We ended up bringing two fans which we used the first night, because it was 88° that day, but the rest of the nights were cool and I wish we wouldn’t have had to waste precious cargo space . Other than that, excellent stay.
Stayed with Grandparents, myself and spouse, and our 8 year old and our dogs The location and facilities were as described, in fact I felt it was better than I expected. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Some reviewers gave negative remarks for things that are clearly stated (if you read) no internet, no washer dryer, rustic cabin, no AC. I was well aware of these items and planned my trip accordingly. We spent most of time using the kayaks and sitting by the water. Access to the lake is sandy and shallow. You have to go out pretty far to get above your waist. It made a perfect spot for our 8 year old to dig holes in the beach area, our dogs to easily run into the water, adult to sit chairs in the water to relax in. We fished using the kayaks and caught a few fish. At night we had bon fires in one of the two available pits. Cooked dinners most nights in the house and found the house well-appointed with the amenities we needed to do so. Beds were lovely and everyone slept well. Tips if we stayed again would be to bring a power strip (rustic cabins tend to have limited plugs). We enjoyed the time together and would recommend to others.
