"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. There were 2 twin beds pushed together and no extra beds in the room. The mattresses were as hard as boards and very...

"The location of the hotel is great. It is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The biggest problem however, was that the hotel was poorly staffed. One person was expected to cook, serve, make coffees for all the guests. By the time a coffee was ready the meal was finished. This wasn't the fault of the employee but rather of how they managed their personnel. We had to ask for amenities such as soap, towels, an iron on a regular basis. Our room was not cleaned daily and there were...

A luxury seafront villa with private pool, near Nafplio

10/10 Excellent
"This property was a true 10/10! Starting with the communication with Martine, answering all my queries and requests in a kind and timely manner before we arrived, to the incredible responsiveness of Aggeliki once we arrived. This is a seamless professional operation! The property itself was even more beautiful than the pictures could depict. Stunning views, incredible landscaping, a lovely private beach, and a home that felt both comfortable and private for my party of 8. We also thoroughly enjoyed an authentic home-cooked meal by the housekeeper, Mrs. Stella! She came every day to clean and tidy up, which is a real luxury for a rented home. This Villa is not to be missed!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Rizai?
The best area to stay in Rizai is the coastal stretch around Rizai Beach and the nearby village of Paralia Rizai.

This area is the heart of activity for visitors, offering a relaxed seaside experience. It's characterised by a long, pebble beach with clear waters, lined with a selection of tavernas and cafes. The main road runs parallel to the coastline, making it easy to access different spots. You'll find a mix of accommodation options here, from smaller guesthouses to more established hotels, all within easy reach of the sea.

Couples looking for a peaceful seaside escape will find this area particularly appealing. The evenings offer opportunities for quiet strolls along the beach promenade and enjoying fresh local cuisine at one of the many tavernas with sea views. It's a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Peloponnese coastline.

Families with children will also appreciate the convenience of staying right by Rizai Beach. The gentle slope into the sea makes it suitable for younger swimmers, and there are often areas along the beach where children can play.
