The best time to visit Rivière-Salée is during the dry season, which runs from December to May.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the island's attractions and enjoying the beaches. The average temperatures hover around 27°C (81°F), providing comfortable conditions for outdoor activities. This period is superb for travellers looking for reliable good weather for their holiday.

The wet season, from June to November, brings higher temperatures, increased humidity, and a greater chance of rain showers, though these often pass quickly. While travel during this time can offer good value on accommodation, it's also hurricane season, so it's wise to keep an eye on weather forecasts.
