"This was an absolutely wonderful resort and from beginning to end our experience was amazing! The room, the view, the pools, the beach, just everything was gorgeous.
There’s 4 restaurants that are reservation only, there’s a buffet, and two pool bars. The food on the menu, or at least what we tried, were not bad at all. The selection at the buffet was pretty wide. One of pool bars played music and had activities for guests like water aerobics, dance lessons, and sports/games.
There’s also 5 other resorts on this property under Barcelo and they offer shuttle service every 20mins if you want to visit them. We were told that if you book with the Maya Riviera Adults Only we can access all the amenities at the other resorts. We went to the Maya Palace and it was really nice there too. On the way there, we went to the mall and casino.
Lastly, we want to commend the staff for their excellent service. Everyone was kind, ready to help with a smile, just beautiful people. 10 out 10 experience, highly recommended! Thank you!"
