"Clean room nice decor a little bit of an older building, but the personality and great staff along with the heated pool and hot tub. Definitely make up for it and the location is perfect. If you want to go literally anywhere it’s in the middle of everything."

"Overall this hotel is fine, but the person who was checking me out on March 17 was rude and non- professional. I had to leave 2 days earlier due to family emergency. I worked for 21 years for Montrose Travel agency in Montrose Travel in Montrose city,CA. I am very well familiar with travel rules If you stayed at hotel and need to check out earlier - no problem The only request I had for receptionist was to give me print out of my actual stay for ,1 night He refused to do so motivating it - you booked with Expedia I explained once again, that i am not asking hotel to refund my card - just want the receipt for my one day stay and early checkout He refused to do it im a very rude way I stayed in this hotel before and the manager is very nice man, who always tried to make the vistomer happy, was very friendly and helpful- but due to this employee's attitude I will never book this hotel again I come to LA at least once a month, but now I am choosing another hotels in Hpllywood"

"David was an amazing host - super thoughtful and communicative, flexible whenever possible, very helpful! The layout is a bit quirky (make sure you check the floor plan) but very nicely kept and super clean. It's on a beautiful block in the hills covered with flowers and cacti - an LA dream!"

"I’m unsure how to feel about this place. Pros: Unique property with a funky/cool style, easy check-in process, good location and it was low cost. The property was clean and I enjoyed the size and look of my room - it felt like my own little apartment which I enjoyed. Cons: Parking - the suggested nearby parking lot wanted to charge double because of the size of my truck (it’s a normal vehicle) and it would have cost more than my room for the night. I did finally find street parking after a lot of circling. Safety was also a bit worrisome. There was loud pounding on my door at night and no lock on patio sliding door. The wifi is also very slow so I had to go elsewhere to work and the bed/pillows and towels need some updating. Overall it’s a place that has a ton of promise, but is missing some creature comforts, but at a lower price it’s expected."
