A couple of problems but I will return !
Unfortunately the central heating was broken and the restaurant closed for my visit. However the host went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I will definitely return in the future - I was just unlucky,

Great staff and very clean, just a bit too near main road so the noise from cars woke me. Would def stay again but in a room at the back.

the only comment I can make being over 6 feet tall the low toilet was slighly inconveient without a handle to stand after use

Good location on outskirts of Ripon. Lovely spacious ground floor room and comfy beds with slip mat and grab rails around bath. Bit cold as no heating on yet but douvet very cosy. Lovely breakfast.

The owner met us and was very pleasant and accommodating as were the staff at dinner. The hotel is in the middle of no where and on a busy road so a walk to pass time was pretty much out of the question. We used this hotel as it was the nearest to the Yorkshire Flower show and as such met our needs. The evening meal that we had at the hotel was perfectly acceptable but not cheap but if you are going to the show then that is what we would expect

Room ok but not the one we booked on the picture, evening meal average but breakfast good. Staff friendly and small seating area near the bar was cosy but small. Landlord genuinely not interested in a word you say. Probably won't be going back.

Enjoyable anniversary trip to Ripon
Booked a stay for our wedding anniversary in the city we met. The Black a moor was ideal. Very clean and comfortable room with excellent shower. Lovely large leather sofas to relax in after an evening in Ripon. Good cooked breakfast.

Excellent couple of days
Very nice two day stay. Quiet and comfortable twin room. Excellent host and very nice staff. Couldnt be more helpful and owner drove us to the races. Had very nice breakfast and dinner.

Our 2-night stay was very good. Seamus and the staff were very welcoming,friendly & courteous. The food we had was excellent & room very comfortable. Menu on table for food available at breakfast might be a welcome addition. Best wishes for the future success of the inn.

Great steaks and homemade sticky toffee
Great stay the staff were very friendly and the food was really good. A great menu with a chef who is obviously trying to Establish them selves. We will definitely revisit in the future
