"Booking a room was misleading because the picture of the room wasn’t the room we were put in , wasn’t told we could order a cooked breakfast, wasn’t told that they had a smoking area, overall the room was very clean , the bed and bedding was spotless, we had tea , coffee and biscuits in room , bathroom was spotless which was very appreciated"

"Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables ."

"Great one night stay, extremely friendly and helpful staff especially in the bar and restaurant. Good quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices"
"My room was nice, carpets are a bit worn etc. But it was alright. Worse thing is the restaurant. I didnt have breakfast as it was served to late for me, but i ate once in the restaurant for an evening meal. Half the menu wasn't available so I had a chicken burger. It was alright, but everything seemed quite expensive for what it was. I would have eaten here before, however, even though the restaurant looked empty i was told there was a long wait. However, there is a great steak house a short walk away. The gym is a waste of time"
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Orchard Hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Nottingham. The restaurant was outstanding. I also had posssibly the best bacon sandwich I've had in my life for breakfast!
I was blown away with the cleanliness of the room and the staff were helpful and really friendly. I will be returning next time I'm in Nottingham!"
"Only a few parking spots at the hotel which have to be booked in advance.
It's approx 5 minute walk to a multi storey car park across the across the way.
Our hotel room looked ok until we found some rubbish in the drawer.
The bedding smelt musky.
Good location to the main centre."
"Reception staff were great, very friendly. The pool was fab, nice and clean and great for the kids. The room was a good size and clean, if not a little run down. We had the top room with skylights for windows, one of had a broken blind that wouldn’t go down. It meant we couldn’t make the room dark which made it difficult to get the kids to sleep and when the sun came up at 5am it woke all of us up too. The air con also didn’t work and the room was roasting hot. It had been a sunny day so the room was already hot before we got into it. I suspect staff knew about the issues with the room prior to us checking in as every blind was pulled down except for the one broken one, but obviously I can’t prove this. We tried to change rooms but the hotel was at capacity and by the time we realised the blind didn’t go down we were already unpacked with the kids in bed trying to get them to sleep and it seemed like too much hassle. We all had a terrible nights sleep due to the temp of the room and getting up at the crack of sparrows. In hindsight we should have packed up and moved hotels. Reception staff were apologetic in the morning a advised management would be in touch, however we received an email saying we’d have to go through hotels.com to complain as we had booked through them. Needless to say we didn’t get very far with them. Overall hotel was nice but the issues room really ruined it and would put me off staying again."
