Basic accommodation is fine, but when the window is boarded up so no natural light, toilet doesn’t flush without messing with pipes and a bucket, a/c lets a load of hot air in, a bad leak inside the room, and worst of all owner lied in property description about having Wi-Fi meaning an expensive 3 hour round trip to get a SIM card and enough data to keep connected to my family and do online work. "Me ha ido pésimo. Por favor tengan cuidado. Esta es una trampa para cautos como lo fuimos con mi familia. Estábamos muy ilusionados con ver los flamingos rosados y pasar una estadía genial. Llegamos en carro y cuando nos bajamos: oh sorpresa!! Es un hostal con fachada amarilla, muy distinto a lo que se anuncia en las fotos y con unos indígenas guajiros muy groseros y agresivos. Nos dijeron que no había reserva, que qué nos sucedía, que nos fuéramos. Cuando estábamos por irnos llegaron otros...

"the hostel looks nice, but the room ended up not in the hostel - you actually end up needing to get outside the hostel, and the room is on the street... not only that, i was the first in the room, but the shower was still dirty though i was irate about the situation, kendry was very nice and helpful with everything. breakfast was nice."
