"We had a wonderful stay at Tres Palmas and we would definitely recommend it. We all remarked how well we slept in the cozy beds and clean, cool environment. We did not have an ocean view from our room, but we did from the corridor outside of our room. We look forward to returning. "

"The staff were welcoming and friendly, creating a great first impression. My room was clean and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, though its location near the bar meant it could get a bit noisy at times. That said, the hotel did a good job managing noise levels by lowering the music later in the evening. The gym was well-equipped and exceeded expectations, and the beachfront location is unbeatable, especially for the incredible sunsets. I’ll definitely be back. "

"There's an additional "resort fee" attached that somehow is above and beyond Expedia. I received one phone call about such, and they disabled my keys to force me into coming to the office. Wasn't overly upset with the fee, but I certainly don't enjoy being lied to. My room was in general disrepair, and based on old open food in the fridge and some broken things under the bed I can only assume the room was poorly cleaned before my arrival. Hotel is in a good location, but based on what I experienced and saw others go through I won't be returning."
