"Nice hotel, rooms are a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice Excellent pool area and ample seating/ sun loungers. Layout of hotel can be a little confusing at first, finding your way down stairs to dinning area but additional signage was put up indicating directions. Hotel appears to do a lot of its business accommodating large coach parties, certainly during our stay so lots of people at breakfast at same time before they go off on trips."

"An Incredible Terrace with the Most Amazing Views! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is beautifully restored and in a fantastic location in Pienza, just off Piazza Pio II. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with good bedding and a lovely large bathroom. The room itself was simple but very comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the terrace. The views across the Val d’Orcia are quite simply out of this world! You could sit there for hours just taking it all in. We honestly think it must be the best spot in the whole of Pienza to enjoy those incredible Tuscan views. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was also good. We would highly recommend staying here, especially for the terrace. If you want to experience the beauty of Tuscany from a truly breathtaking viewpoint, this is the place to stay!"

"10/10. Absolutely amazing experience at Principe del Trasimeno. Beatrice was an amazing host and she truly thought of everything. My husband and I got married at the villa and had all our friends and family stay with us. It was the perfect space, the grounds were immaculate, everything was so well-cared for, the common living room was a great spot for us all to gather and the individual apartments were so perfect. The apartments allowed guests to have their own space/privacy, cook their own meals and enjoy downtime as they see fit. Beatrice was so approachable, spoke great English and played such a huge part in building my dream wedding weekend. The amount of thought and care Beatrice put into it all blew me away. Her and her family cooked meals for us, cleaned and prepped for our event and were just so wonderful to be around. We would come back in a heartbeat. My husband and I originally wanted to get married in Florence but after the weekend we had at Principe del Trasimeno, we would recommend this to anyone planning a destination wedding looking for a little piece of relaxation and views with the best host imaginable. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are already looking forward to coming back."
