"We originally booked this cabin for 3 nights. I informed the host that it was myself and my friend who are both turning 60 this year and we were planning a girl's weekend near Nashville. We both grew up with cabins in northern Michigan so we thought this would be fun. The cabin is a very rustic cabin, which was fine. The main issue we had was the two "bedrooms/beds" as described in the listing. The bed downstairs is what was described. However the bedroom/bed upstairs was in a loft that you could not stand up in and there was not a bed, but a mattress on the floor. The stairs leading to the loft were very narrow and the railing did not extend properly, so it was treacherous while carrying anything. Regarding the cleanliness, if you looked up, there were lots of cobwebs and if you looked down, all of the baseboards and corners of the room were covered in dust. The linens did not smell fresh. And using a white cleaning cloth on the table, you could see the grime. Things unavailable that were promised in the listing: no microwave, no fireplace (there was a wood stove, but a fire was not allowed for liability reasons), no Keurig, no deadbolt on front door...just a few. After one of us slipped on the stairs, not feeling safe sleeping in the loft, we left after one night and moved to another place. I informed Taylor via message without a response of any kind. We could have gotten past the few inconveniences if the second bed was on a frame and it was easily accessible."

"The house was nice. The listing said 14 people but there was no way the 14 adults would have fit . Maybe 6 adults and 6 to 7 smaller children. Also best if you check in early in the day as the entrance is not easy to find. Also with the additional buildings that the owners are building parking was very limited. We only managed 3 for our entire family. Trails are not marked either we were unable to find the waterfalls shown on the pictures. "
