"TLDR: BOOK IT! We LOVED Rick’s home! It is as described: every amenity, well appointed and so comfortable! You literally can just stop at the grocery store and make yourself at home. We were also pleasantly surprised by the backyard/garden and pool area. Just such a sweet space! We also appreciate the fact that we were not tasked with endless list of chores to complete upon checkout. Rick himself was very generous with answering a few questions I had and very helpful overall. The beach is literally a 4 minute drive, and approximately a 15-20 min walk, which we were more than happy to do. Once at the beach (Enterprise/Miami), you have many food/beverage options. "

"Communication for check in/out was easy. It’s a nice rural location and not too far from Miami Beach/Oistens. I would say that you definitely need a car. The apartment was clean and had all you needed. A bit noisy with the roosters and dogs barking at all times, so unless your a heavy sleeper, I would say pack earplugs. However, you are living with the locals, there is a plunge pool on the roof which we enjoyed and saw plenty of monkeys running about which was amazing! Nice balcony overlooking the sea in the distance. Nice big bedrooms with plenty of storage and plenty of coat hangers. Have previously stayed at Worthing and the Gap but equally enjoyed this location, albeit with a car. Nice to know that Marcia was on hand if needed. Would recommend."

"Ocean villas was fantastic ! The communication to get the keys and to get to the villa was greatly appreciated. The bed was so comfy, the kitchen fully stocked with all the appliances you need to cook at home. The shower pressure was awesome. The place was bigger than our actual house we rent and appreciated the space. The AC unit was a great added unit. We were able to walk 15 minutes into oistins and take buses everywhere. We didn't need a car. We had an amazing 9 nights here "

"The apt I stayed in upstairs was big and spacious. It was clean and very comfortable. It has lots of windows to let in natural sunlight and lots of cool breeze. The master bedroom had an ac but I needed to use it because there was lots of cool breeze coming through the entire house day and night. The owners Desmond and Harriet were so kind and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for better service. The best part of this stay at holiday spice is that I was a solo traveler and I fell safe and comfortable. They treated me like family!"

"Perfect location. The beautiful beach is a 10 minute walk away and shops are 15 to 20 minutes away on foot. No car was needed. We used the app “pick-up Caribbean” for taxis when we wanted to explore other areas on the island. The apartment is clean annd well equipped. Also, the yard is a plus (we had breakfast and sometimes lunch outside in the gazebo or at the table). Right next door to a surf school. We enjoyed a dinner at the Cafe Luna which less than a 10 minute walk away. Delicious. We also enjoyed our evening at the Oistin Fish Fry on Friday night (15-20 minute walk). Very safe area. Perfect for our needs. "

"Great experience from start to finish! This is located near Miami Beach, and a short drive from Surfer’s point. The apartment was clean, roomy and included all we needed. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. I would highly recommend!"
