"When I arrived the owner came out and showed me exactly where to go. The apartment was small but just what I needed. It was clean, smelled nice, and I appreciate the nice touch of having gentle music and scenery on the TV monitor. Great stay. A couple of unexpected, but friendly dogs were nearby, eager for a pat on the head. All good!"

What is a historic hotel like in Richmond?
Guests who choose historic hotels have an opportunity to stay in a place that's been officially recognised with a historic designation. These types of hotels in Richmond often preserve original qualities like traditional architecture and period features in their communal spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
They are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe.
