"The problem with this rental is a lack of adequate heat. We arrived on a bitterly cold December night a few days before Christmas. Our two adult children stayed with my dad at his house in Goldthwaite and my husband and I rented this house for ourselves, A cold front had blown in. The temperature that night and for the next couple of nights would get down to around 12 degrees. The house was frigid and, to our dismay, there was no central heat. "Everything in the house was good. Doors/windows are drafty so it was a little chilly in the house. Road is really loud, so if you're sleeping in, it's going to be a challenge. Overall, it's a decent place."
