"Very nice front desk guy for check in and later my youngest cut her knuckles in the pool so we got bandaids from him. Overall nice room (cracked bathroom floor tile in 236) Lady was on phone during checkout so no chance to tell her. Overall nice stay. The pool and the breakfast are always a hit for the kids."
Stunning 4 Season New Beach House - Big Traverse Bay on Lake Superior!
10/10 Excellent
"We traveled the second week of July with our family of five (3 teens). We had a wonderful time! House was clean, view of lake and private beach were fabulous and the host had thought of everything. Sun didn’t set until 10:30 pm so lots of daylight to enjoy all of the outdoor activities. We had a lot of fun kayaking/paddle boarding in the calm bay and exploring the shoreline. Thanks for a great week!"
"Kitchen is nice with almost everything you have in your kitchen. The bed was comfortable. The house is by the highway but the speed is only 35. When you turn the air conditioning on, all the road noise is muted. Because it is on the highway the house was easy to find and is close to stores and cross country and bike trails."
Water lovers Dream-Newly renovated! Gorgeous modern updates with a rustic flare!
10/10 Excellent
"Kierstin and Tom are considerate and proficient owners. They are a comfortable mix of friendly and helpful while allowing privacy and respect. We enjoyed the cozy cabin with its updates and loved the lake views and dock. Glad we caught some fish to use the grill and picnic table one evening. The cabin is in a great location to wander the Keweenaw Peninsula and still close enough for day trips to areas like the Porcupine Mts. I wish continued success for the Waara’s and encourage travelers to book their UP VRBO vacations here."
