"Very friendly and helpful staff, with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, especially English-speaking Marco. Fantastic breakfast, rooms spotlessly clean."
"The pros: property is very clean and the breakfast was outstanding. It is very close to the beach and restaurants even in the off season was a good location. The staf works very hard but they are not professional hoteliers. The cons: it is a bed and breakfast posing as a hotel so some nutty things happened during our stay. When we arrived the owner checked us in. He was clearly intoxicated and was incapable of communicating the parking situation. He directed us to park on the street in what we...
"Great apart hotel near the beach with a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our only notes were that the shower wasn’t great- the floor was dated and the water pressure kept fluctuating. The pool was a great bonus but unfortunately it was very cold! "
"The location is perfect and the staff is really kind. The hotel and the rooms a quite outdated but if you just need to use the room to sleep then the hotel is ideal to go around without having to use a car "
"Great hotel. Enjoyed our stay and the room was practical for our needs. Breakfast was a nice touch in the morning with a good selection. Close to town and easy to walk and navigate. We were there for a couple days and don’t spend much time in the room. Little small if you were more of a lounger or wanting to relax. Didn’t experience any amenities."
"I have dreamed of going to Italy my whole life. My trip was made wonderful by the staff. They went out their way to make sure every day that my stay was memorable and delightful."

"We arrived before check in, but reception staff checked if our room was available, and we were able to go to our room. A great advantage for a one night stay, allowing us ease of use of the rooftop pool facilities. We were also able to pay for a late checkout so it felt like a 2 night stay. Riccione (as with cervia, our previous location) seemed to be shutting down for winter. Breakfast was great in our hotel , and on departure day, bar staff prepared us some nibbles, but our evening meal was in a sister hotel, but it was a short walk. Great location for beach, boat viewing, and the airport. "

Hotel Vagabond was the perfect escape.
The location is ideal—close to the beach and Riccione’s lively streets, yet peaceful. Our room was clean and beautifully designed and a super comfy bed.
Breakfast was a daily treat, with fresh local ingredients and homemade pastries. The hosts / all of the team were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a boutique stay with heart and style, this is it. Can’t wait to return!

"I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Great room, amazing location and top notch staff. Special shout out to Kiara and Sylvia at the front desk. Awesome young ladies who were extremely helpful! "
"Upon arrival they handed us keys to the room they said was ours. With three days left in our visit they called us asking us to check out. We went down to see what was going on and apparently we were supposed to be staying in another room. The younger lady at the front desk was visibly upset with us as if we changed rooms and was giving us attitude about it.
She then informed us that we owed close to $80 euros in taxes for our stay, we were there for 7 days so we were a bit shocked as the city tax is only €2 per night.
We had to call over our Italian friend who we were visiting to come talk to them. After they spoke that fee magically went away.
The air conditioner in the room is not doing anything at all and the room was so tiny it barely had room for our two suitcases. The bed was like cardboard and the pillows were flat as a pancake.
It was an overall bad experience and would definitely never stay there again. I’m not sure if they were trying to pull a fast one on us because they could barely speak English and try to make us pay more because we couldn’t defend ourselves in Italian. Just found it weird that the tax vanished once our Italian friend spoke to them."

"Love this hotel for its proximity to the train station, shopping and the beach. Second time here and in the newer wing. Room came with south facing balcony, great bed and great shower. Surprisingly quiet given that it’s right across the street from the train station. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again!"
