"Stayed two nights at Middle Studfold Farm and what a fantastic experience. Jan and Edd were extremely welcoming and helpful. Plenty of recommendations for food and hikes. Tasty breakfast each morning and great conversation. We opted for a packed lunch one of the days. Room was perfect and very comfortable beds. Well stocked coffee and teas in the room, with fresh milk available. Great Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. "

The cottage itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard.The location is superb for anyone who loves the outdoors. Scenic walking routes begin practically at the doorstep, with stunning countryside views just a short stroll away. After each day’s walk, it was a joy to return to such a cosy and comfortable retreat, especially the log burner.Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was just right without ever intruding on our privacy. Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. "Accommodation was average but the cleanliness let it down. The bedding was clean and fresh but we had old tea spashes on the unit and also someone's old toilet usage was still stick to the pan. "Wasn't the nicest thing to have to clean when I've paid to stay at a hotel" overall would I stay again. Yes I probably would as it may have been a one off... Some of the furniture and decor had seen better days too "
