"Great hotel in every way save the food offering- there wasn't and on first night advised to order in if we wanted food! Great coming from a 4 star hotel. Breakfast for continental was OK but nothing hot... unless you count the toast! We paid for a full breakfast and got a pale copy unfortunately."

"Booked this as an 18th Birthday present for my son and his girlfriend. Upon arrival they were asked to add on breakfast(which was already included) I called the hotel and receptionist said the manager would call me back, this was 3 weeks ago. Still no contact and off putting as it’s not a cheap hotel. "

"Friendly and welcoming staff to this impressive building. The location, room, decor and breakfast were all huge positives. Strong smells from the kitchen did linger in the dining and lounge area. The placement of our room meant that we needed to travel through the dining room on Valentine’s evening with our belongings, which possibly affected the mood for others and felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately in the bedroom, we could hear the rooms around us including bathroom sounds. The bed was uncomfortable. "
