Great location within the old town, putting all of it within easy walking distance. Well equipped, air conditioned, comfortable, clean apartment in a restored old style property. Several excellent restaurants within 2 minutes walk, and many more nearby.
Sad to have to leave at the end of the holiday.
Firstly I would like to say the person who checked us into the apartment was LOVELY. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport, sorted it out immediately when he wasn't there and then came and met us when we arrived over 3 hours late due to a delayed flight. The apartment itself is in a great location, is a reasonable size and is well equipped. However, it is extremely dirty. There were cockroaches in the kitchen area and the bathroom. The surfaces hadn't been cleaned. The shower was disgustingly dirty and didn't have sides so the water went all over the place when showering. The plug sockets are hanging out of the wall in places, leaving open wires. The iron had something on it so when I used it, it left stains of whatever it was on my clothes. The floors are dirty. This place needs some serious TLC. We just basically avoided going back to the apartment, leaving early in the morning and coming back just to sleep at night. You wouldn't want to sit on the sofas and chill. If we were staying any longer than the 3 nights we were there, we would have found somewhere else to stay!
Deux nuits en plein cœur de la vieille ville près des remparts, d’une plage de sable et du port. Un accueil chaleureux
Des journées et nuits au calme total.
vraiment bien
The fact that it is in the Old Town is a bonus as it is such an amazing place and a privilege to be able to stay within the city walls. It's also very accessible to the bus station or the tourist port to catch a boat. The property decor is in a kind of medieval style so you really feel like a local living in the old town. The apartment is a good size and very comfortable although we spent most of our time sitting out on the lovely balcony.
It's quietly tucked away from the busy main streets but has plenty of restaurants close by. The little courtyard, which is shared with the other guests, is really nice and cosy and pleasing to return to at the end of the day.
Very nice place to stay. Everything you need is in the house. Close to the old town, port and beach. We had a great time in Rhodes. We certanly recommend this place.
This little apartment was perfect. It is a little hard to find, but we stopped at the restaurant (Lagnais Taverna also a great place to eat owner is so friendly) near it and they called them to come get us. It had everything you could need for your stay. Was clean and quiet. Awesome shower and a fully operational kitchen. It’s very close to the port and old town. Lots of great things to see and do within walking distance. Communication was great, they even arranged a taxi for me to go to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice, comfortable and spacious apartment with bedroom upstairs. In old town, but quiet corner near the Akandia Gate (outside of which there is free parking, which might be more difficult in the high season), a park, the good Xatsikelis restaurant, and the ruins of a Gothic church. Walkable to all parts of old town and the harbors. Full eat-in kitchen and nice bathroom. Upstairs balcony. Michael was very helpful.
We stayed here for 4 nights. Super comfy beds, good air con. Very close to the old town and harbour. Less than 5 minutes to the centre. Clean mpdern bathroom, even had a washing machine.
Great place to stay!!! Lost my phone in the taxi from the airport and I thought my trip would turn into a disaster. The host said not to worry we'll call the taxi cab companies and we'll find it for you. One hour later he brought the phone to my room.
awkward to find but we were met,it was a quiet area except for the odd guests talking in the sitting area until 2am. at the top floor apartment the ceiling is low (i was ok being 5'7") 5 mins walk to loads of shops & the port
One of the nicest places, restored, and clean. We loved it.
One of the things we actually were uncertain about, because the price seemed too good, was if it was a shared common space (kitchen, bathroom, living room), but upon arrival, it is an entire apartment/loft.
It is very spacious for two. After walking around Old-town, we would only stay here again. I messaged the staff of the time we would be arriving the day before to double-check, and we were greeted as we stepped out of the taxi. Anyway, this place doesn't really need a review, it's just a good choice.
Communication with the owners/managers of this property was very difficult. A few days before arrival, Xenios Zeus messaged me via the Hotels.com website with arrival information (key pick-up would take place at a neighboring restaurant) and to request my arrival time. I replied to the message and also asked for parking information. I did not receive a confirmation or a reply from Xenios Zeus. Upon arrival, I went to the restaurant which was closed and the neighborhood dark and deserted on a Saturday night at 19:15 during low season. Because Xenios Zeus did not confirm the arrival time with me, this caused me a good deal of concern. My mobile phone does not work in Greece and I had to ask a kind stranger to phone Xenios Zeus to let them know I had arrived. Also, parking is not allowed where Xenios Zeus is located - and again, a simple reply to my original message would have alerted me to this issue. Though the facilities of the apartment were nice, there were other problems. On my second night, there was no hot water and communication with the owner/manager was also difficult. After check-out, I did not receive a receipt for my stay. I sent a message to the owner/manager - again, no response. I finally had to call Hotels.com to ask them to request a receipt for me (which the owner/manager could not supply until after the weekend).
Nice area, everything clean and for the most part worked well. Enjoyed being in an apartment. No real greeting or additional information given by the owners/persons who rented, but we did it on our own. Lamp in the kitchen did not work, so cooked in a little bit of the darkness. Also, the ventilator for the stove did not work, and lamp buttons wobbly, so didn”t use. But nice stove, washing machine, just what we needed.
Great place to stay in Old Town. A little tough to find. Makes a great base for a multi-day stay. The area has loads of character and great food very close.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean and because it had a kitchen it was that little bit bigger than normal which was lovely. The apartment was nicely furnished and i think the bathroom was less than a couple of years old as it was ultra modern and new looking.
The hotel itself was centrally located in Old Town and walking distance to everything. It felt very safe and easy to get around and allowed me to enjoy the nightlife without having to worry about getting home.
I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again.
The property is close to the port area, maybe a five minute walk. The staff was courteous and friendly. The kitchen was equipped with all the appliances so you can bake some cookies if you really want to.
