NICOLINDA'S HOUSE

Our home is situated in the area of the beautiful and well known Thermen of Kalithea on the North-East coast of the island Rhodos.

Rhodos is the largest and known as the sunniest Island of the Dodekanissos in the Agean Sea off Greece. Counting up with 300 days of sun per year. It has a beautiful nature and many sights from Ancient time.


THE EXTERIEUR

Nicolinda's House is a two floor building and so with its stairs it is NOT suitable for wheelchairs.

The house is built within 1.300 square meters of private grounds. It has a large parking area, partly with roof cover and a big green garden complete with two large verandas. The veranda area counting approximately 100 square meters is divided in a upper and lower level for more privacy. Connected to the upper veranda there is a relax room (20 square meters), build in a chalet style which includes a swim spa and sunbeds. The swim spa has three jacuzi seats and a sportswim area. Because the turbo pumps of the pool are quit strong it is NOT suitable to
leave small children UNATTENDED in the pool for safety reasons!

THE INTERIEUR

Ground floor (85 square meters): Coming in to the main entrance you will enter the living-room with open kitchen. The hallway leads to the stairs upstairs and to the sleeping area. There is a baby/childrens room, a double bedroom and a shower with toilet.

Upper floor (35 square meters): Coming up the stairs there is the second double bedroom, a washing machine room and a big bathroom with corner bath, shower and second toilet. The hall leads to the balcony.

EXTRA DETAILS

The house is completely furnished and equipped for your comfort. There is air conditioning, but as the design of the house with many windows is very light and cool at the same time, you rarely need to use the air conditioning! just open the windows and you will have the nice fresh flow of natural air, which is more healthy after all, for you and nature! All windows have mosquito nets and so you are also protected! There is a stereo and led -TV. A gardener takes care of the garden one time a week and cleaning of the house is one time a week as well, usually at the changing day. If you would have other demands, this you can discuss with your local contact and for sure we are willing to meet your demands if possible!

SURROUNDING AREA

With a 25 minutes distance off the Airport of Rhodos by car you will pass the village of Koskinou and 1.5 km down towards the coast there is Nicolinda's House. From the house you only have to walk 130 meters to the nearest beach, the beach beds are rented beds, as everywhere on the island, and cost 3 euro per bed for one day. On other beaches the price might be higher! On your way to the beach you will pass the nearest swimming pool.

The main road (Rhodos-Faliraki road) is 300 meters from the house and there you will find a TAXI-stand, BUSS-stop and Kiosk with snacks and cigarettes. If you would follow the road towards Rhodos Town with another 200 meters you will have an ATM-cash machine, Mini-Market and opposite a Petrol station. Another 300 meters in the same direction and you will have a Pharmacy. With a total distance off the house of 1.5 km, there is the first big AB-supermarket. On the road towards town there are four big supermarkets in total. Total distance to the Center off Rhodos Town and Old Town is 5.5 kms.

The Thermen off Kalithea are in the other direction (towards Faliraki) and are 2 kms from the house. In that area you have many different small beaches in the beautiful rockey coastline. A little further south you have the sandy beach off Faliraki and touristic center on a distance of 6 kms.
