A comfortable guesthouse just a stone's throw from the Maas River and the "voie verte."

Located in the heart of the Meuse Valley, in the centre of the Ardennes Regional Nature Park, in a town with a rich industrial history, La Bayenne (named after a traditional Ardennes dish) has been fully restored to ensure your utmost comfort.
During its restoration, every detail was carefully considered to make you feel right at home. The house spans three levels and features an outdoor area with garden furniture where you can relax.
Accommodation
The ground floor consists of a large living area centred around a rotating wood-burning stove.
On one side, the living room—combining modern and antique furniture—offers a comfortable space with its electric sofa and numerous armchairs, perfect for enjoying the reading nook (which features many books, including historical works on the Ardennes) or the large 4K TV. From the living room, you can also unwind to the rhythm of the Meuse’s currents with a direct view of the river or by listening to LPs on the turntable.
On the other side is a fully equipped built-in kitchen with a large family table and stainless-steel medallion chairs. An arcade machine is available for those who enjoy retro video games.
A laundry area with a bathroom adjoins the kitchen.

From the kitchen, you have access to an interior courtyard featuring a dining area, a Weber or ceramic grill available for use, a relaxation area, and a Zen space surrounded by palm trees and a century-old olive tree. With no direct views from neighbouring properties, the courtyard enjoys sunlight throughout the day.

On the ground floor, the two bedrooms—one overlooking the Meuse River and the other the inner courtyard—each have their own unique theme. Each room features a queen-size bed with a mattress, pillows, and comforter from the Emma brand, a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi, and a full bathroom (shower and toilet).
On the second floor, the bedroom features antique Empire-style furniture and offers the same level of comfort as the other bedrooms.

Free parking is readily available in front of the house.
