Search Rettmer hotels

The best time to visit Rettmer is typically between May and September, when the weather is mildest and most pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, usually ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with longer daylight hours. This makes it ideal for exploring the local area, enjoying walks along the Ilmenau river, or visiting nearby Lüneburg. The warmer weather also means that outdoor dining and local festivals are more common.

For those who enjoy cycling or hiking, late spring and early autumn (May-June and September) offer particularly good conditions, as the landscape is green and the temperatures are not too hot.
