"Péssima experiência. A suíte não foi a que reservei, a recepcionista não encontrou minha reserva e me colocou em qualquer quarto. A tranca da porta estava em péssimo estado, comprometendo a segurança. A pia vazava, o ventilador fazia muito barulho, e o conforto é muito ruim: cama desconfortável, travesseiros finos e cabeceira estrutura de tijolo. Falta total de manutenção e organização. Não recomendo."

"The location was brilliant, as were the staff in being friendly and helpful. The Hotel is quite traditional and some parts need updating, but you can see that they are actually undergoing the process. The room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was 10/10"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Residencial Taquaril?
The best time to go to Residencial Taquaril is during the dry season, which runs from April to September.

During these months, you'll experience pleasant, sunny weather with lower humidity and cooler temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 28°C. This makes exploring the area and enjoying outdoor activities much more comfortable. The drier conditions also mean clearer skies, which are superb for admiring the region's natural beauty.

For those planning outdoor adventures like hiking or exploring the nearby natural parks, the dry season is ideal. The trails are less muddy, and the mild weather allows for extended periods outdoors without the discomfort of intense heat or heavy rain. This is particularly appealing for couples or solo travellers who enjoy an active holiday.

Conversely, the wet season, from October to March, brings higher temperatures, increased humidity, and frequent heavy rainfall, often in the form of afternoon downpours.
