"This place is a little gem and really the photos of the cabin don’t do it justice. We are a family with kids aged 13 and it was perfect. Firstly the view is incredible, the location on the river perfect and 5 min drive to the marina and 2 supermarkets. Word of caution it’s pretty steep so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or very elderly. Our host was lovely. The main area by the pool is great for kids, pool table, arcade games, Nintendo. The pool itself is beautiful....

"Appartement très fonctionnel, avec une grande terrasse face à la baie, un pur bonheur. L'accueil est charmant. Seul bémol: contrairement à ce qui est dit sur le site Expédia, il n'y a pas de wifi dans les appartements (à moins d'être à côté de la réception ou de la piscine, ce qui n'était pas notre cas), ou de manière aléatoire. Sinon, la notation aurait été 5 étoiles."

"We have never before experienced such rude staff. We came too early for check in and were hoping we could just sit in the restaurant and wait but the hotel (male) staff SHOUTED at us from the balcony (even before we had come inside) that we are too early and “IT’S NOT OKAY” and waved us away. We left astonished. When we came back later my husband sat down to talk to him about it, and then the same staff member stood up with very aggressive body language and again raised his voice and did not...

Le Dauphin Hotel

Le Dauphin Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is a two star hotel wich is situated across the road from the bus, train and ferry port and 5 minutes walk to the city centre. The hotel is in an old building adjoining a bar which has no noise impact on the hotel rooms. The entrance is through a hallway shared with other apartments and is accessed via a lift. The room, while basic, has everytimng you need with a small bathroom with very good shower, good kingsized bed with clean fresh linen and very good air-conditioning. Our room looked out onto the main road and across to the port area. We had no impact from road noise. Staff were helpful and allowed us to store our luggage after check out."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Renno?
The best area to stay in Renno is the village centre itself, particularly for those seeking a tranquil retreat amidst the Corsican mountains.

Renno is a small, traditional Corsican village located in the heart of the regional natural park, characterised by its stone houses, narrow cobbled streets, and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The main church, Saint-Césaire, is a prominent landmark, and the village often hosts local festivals.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find Renno ideal. The village offers a chance to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of Corsica, with opportunities for gentle walks directly from your accommodation. The focus here is on quiet relaxation and experiencing authentic village life, away from the busier coastal areas.

For those who appreciate nature and outdoor activities, staying in Renno provides direct access to numerous hiking trails leading into the surrounding forests and mountains.
When is the best time to go to Renno?
The best times to visit Renno are during late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) to enjoy pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

May and early June offer warm, sunny days, great for exploring the outdoors without the intense heat of mid-summer. The maquis, the local shrubland, is in full bloom, making for beautiful walks and drives. It's also a great time for couples to enjoy the beaches before they get too busy, with the sea just starting to warm up for swimming.

Early autumn, from September to early October, provides similar mild temperatures and comfortable conditions. The sea remains warm enough for swimming, and the summer crowds have thinned out, making popular spots more accessible.
