"We were really positively surprised with the hotel. We booked it randomly shortly before our stay and the price was quite reasonable for us (family of 5). We didn't expect much since we simply needed a base near Colmar. Quite family friendly, perfectly located (15 min by bike to Colmar), but nicely isolated from the tourist crowds. Perfect place to stay with family and to explore surroundings."

"A beautifully renovated barn with all the charm. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. Every aspect of the stay was brilliant. The barn was toasty warm, the kitchen stocked with all appliances, the beds comfy and the lounging area relaxing. There is also a great sustainable ethos with the stay. "My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay at the Hotel Dontenville. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and informative. We had one evening meal and two breakfasts'. We really liked the breakfast. The fresh baguette was awesome and the croissants melted in your mouth. If we return to the Alcase region, we will defiantly stay her again."
