Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble.
Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers.
However idle rocks was perfect !!

Fantastic views , we had room 2 on the ground floor , not accesable through the hotel but that was no problem lovely large room with a seating area at window to view St Michaels Mount and beach. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower
We had breakfast included which included cooked to order , restuarant again with far reach views of the Mount and beach. We did eat 1 meal in the evening , it was just ok
If you book your room though the hotel you can get one of their parking slots next door , think its £10 per night , if you book through a booking agent you need to park in long stay which is further away , @£15 per 24 hours
I would recommend for its position alone

The staff were very helpful from booking until check out and I cannot thank them enough.
Our room was bright and spacious and whilst could benefit from being updated, I understand plans are underway for this.
Hotel breakfast is usual hot and cold buffet and plentiful to start the day.
Great location, lovely views and very convenient. A very enjoyable stay.
