Lovely place in great location. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast eggs are fantastic ! Service at breakfast is very good - we were pleased that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room ; my husband is allergic to them - Thank you.

Decor a little tired but it was spotless. Bed comfy although pillows a bit on the firm side for me. Staff were brilliant, friendly and help-full. Only fault is the curtains, could not be pulled or opened without standing on a chair and although blackout, because of the rail (eyelit style), they let a lot of light in and bathroom door handle could do with WD40 as nighttime bathroom visits would wake my wife.

A wonderful find

An exceptional stay. Superb staff. I stayed with my teenage sons and puppy and the care and attention shown by staff was above and beyond. The hotel might not have 5 stars or be deemed luxurious, but the comfort, friendliness and level of service, far surpasses many of the 5 star hotels I have visited. It was tailored to meet our needs perfectly! We will return!

Great spring getaway

Really good breakfast and hard-working staff. The family room (king + single) was great for 2 parents and a child. Good variety of restaurants for dinner within walking distance of the hotel.
