Odenwald Lodge with Infrared Sauna and Electric Vehicle Charging Station "Haus Himmelblau"

Two families who are friends shared a dream of creating a holiday home in their native Odenwald where guests could feel completely at ease. The result is two modern, eco-friendly wooden houses, furnished with great attention to detail, situated on a hill at the edge of the forest with a view of the vast Odenwald low mountain range.

Sit out on the sunny terrace and recharge your batteries while taking in the view of the green forests and meadows. After a visit to the on-site sauna, enjoy delicious regional cuisine at one of the nearby Odenwald restaurants. An extensive and well-marked network of hiking and biking trails, as well as numerous MTB and e-bike routes, invite sports enthusiasts to actively enjoy nature. The certified GEO nature trail, among others, starts right behind the houses. The range of sports activities is rounded out by the nearby thermal spa, golf and tennis courts, swimming pools, and much more. Interesting cities, such as Erbach or Frankfurt, are within easy reach. In addition, the Odenwald offers a diverse cultural experience with its museums of various themes, castles and palaces, artists and direct-sales vendors, as well as various events. Here, a spirit of adventure and recreational opportunities go hand in hand, so everyone will find exactly what they’re looking for! Whether it’s a family reunion, a family holiday, or a romantic getaway for two—our houses are the ideal place for it! Book both houses together or separately. The holiday home is not suitable for construction crews or teams of tradespeople.
We’ve also installed a charging station for guests with electric cars. However, we must charge you our cost price for the charge.

Want to enjoy a massage on holiday? No problem—upon request, our guests can be pampered right here at the lodge with a variety of wellness massages for the whole family. In addition to partial-body, full-body, singing bowl, and hot chocolate massages, we also offer qigong, sound baths, and progressive muscle relaxation. There’s even a special massage for children.
