The apartment, rated 3 stars, completely renovated and refurbished in 2020, offers two beautiful living rooms with contrasting decoration, each with fireplace, woodwork, parquet flooring, antique furniture and original works of art.
The first living room (36 m2), very bright, with contemporary decoration, opens onto the balcony and integrates the open kitchen-bar. The second living room (21 m2), separated from the first by a large old glass roof typical of these eighteenth century dwellings, offers a more subdued atmosphere, with a classic French décor and is more particularly devoted to reading (library) and television (ultra HD connected to the internet by wifi).
The fitted kitchen has all the quality equipment necessary to cook efficiently, as well as all the crockery to carry out a charming service.
The night area, in a row, consists of two rooms:
- On the one hand, a beautiful room with a New York atmosphere with a king-size bed (160x200 cm) "great comfort" with a TV connected by wifi and a library area and desk which will guarantee you a pleasant rest.
- on the other hand, an extra cabin in the style of the Orient-Express with 2 bunk beds equipped with a 90x200 cm bed with top-of-the-range bedding.
For our guests coming with their families by train with young children, we provide them with all the necessary equipment on request: beautiful travel cot, high chair, baby bath, booster seat and car seat.
Located in the heart of the old town, between the port, the river and the canal, this apartment is ideal for discovering Southern Brittany and offers exceptional and picturesque hiking departures along the water and in the surrounding countryside.
Many high-quality sights and museums are located within an hour's drive.
The city of crafts of La Gacilly is 15 minutes away by car, the medieval cities of Josselin and Rochefort-en-Terre respectively 50 and 28 minutes away to the Bretesche golf course 20 minutes, the Cité de l'Automobile and its fabulous museum of Lohéac 20 minutes away, the megalithic site of the Landes de Saint-Just 18 minutes away.
A getaway by the ocean, in the golf course of Morbihan or on the beaches of the Guérande Peninsula is also very easy (an hour's drive at most).
It is a pleasure to be able to enjoy the charms of river life without leaving your home, and to contemplate at all hours the fishing birds, barges and pleasure boats that enliven the view throughout the year. The spectacle of the training sessions and rowing races that take place before your eyes is no less amusing.
