Perfect place for my wife and dog to stay on our journey! The host was very nice on welcoming on our arrival. The house was very clean and cozy with a nice big fenced in yard. Loved it! Plan on trying to stay here anytime we are traveling

My stay was great! The area was quiet and the cottage was stocked with anything I could need. The fenced in yard was an amazing perk for my dog to stretch her legs after our drive. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Comfortable Suite near Shasta Lake

The location was great, a quick drive to neat hikes along the lake! It was over 100 degrees while we were there, so the mini-split was absolutely appreciated!

Great little place

My wife and I came from Sacramento to visit a friend. This was a nice little place with great amenities and accommodations. We'll be sure to book this place again next time we're in the area.

All you need

We spent the Memorial Day weekend in this location. We wanted to spend time in the water, off roading, and to explore the area (Weed and more). This location was perfect. The host was very good at communicating and her cottage was absolutely wonderful. Very private location, super quiet, very calming. Would highly recommend this location if you visit Lake Shasta or the surrounding areas.

The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.

A Peaceful Retreat

This cottage is absolutely adorable. It is stocked with a microwave, refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, and Keurig. There are wonderful touches like coffee pods, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and Q-tips in the bathroom. Nightstands were complete with water and York peppermint patties. This place feels homey and the bed is very comfortable. Amy has created a peaceful and relaxing retreat. My husband, dog, and I enjoyed staying here while exploring the area.

Cute and comfortable Shasta stopover

This sweet cottage was the ideal place for us to stay while visiting a relative in Redding. Outside of the town, it’s surrounded by trees and hills and is very quiet. The bed is really comfortable, the shower is great and we had everything we needed, including a selection of good coffee (pod machine) and laundry facilities. Check-in and out was seamless via the Smart lock. We would stay here again!

Sweetest yellow cottage

We loved our one night stay. We were happy their is a fenced yard for our Lab to play. The cottage is super clean and spacious for 2 people. Amy has everything you may need. Coming back for a longer stay for sure.

Should be called The Love Shack

Property is super cute and CLEAN!! Can not believe this little peace house goes for so cheap! Better than most luxury hotels. Gorgeous shower! A hot tub would be a HUGE upgrade. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of good eats near by!

A hidden gem

From getting a pine clean smell opening the door the place was amazing.. Fully stocked,plus games in the closet and even a dog bowl and toys in the closet if you bring a fur baby. Nice back patio. And Amy is a fantastic host. And quick response to any needs you may have.
