"I was in town with my family for a funeral. The property was very clean and close to the highway making it convenient. We arrived on Saturday night and check in was quick and rge desk staff was very pleasant. The cleaning staff was also pleasant. SUNDAY breakfast was delicious and plenty even though I arrived at 9am. The following morning we went down at 9am and was told their would be no refills of the bacon because it was too late. The breakfast person was not pleasant. Overall the stay was fine and we would likely return there if we were ever in that small town again."

"I hesitated to write this review because now everyone will know how nice this place is! We had the best time. Everything we needed was right here. House was super clean and beautiful. Owner was quick to respond every time we needed them. We will definitely book this again without hesitation!"

"We had a great time at the Executive Mansion with our family of 24 people. The house was very spacious and the amenities were great. Having a pool was a definite plus and it got a lot of use. The kitchen had just about everything we could need and made meal prep very easy. We rented the boat and went fishing almost every day. We caught more fish on this trip than any other vacations we have been on, and we didn’t even have to travel that far from the house.We had a few minor issues, but the home owner was very responsive in addressing them. When you spend as much as we did on a vacation property you expect everything to be perfect. However, it’s a rental property, so it’s going to show some signs of wear and tear. Did any of these issues detract from our overall experience? Not really, so I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Would we go back? Our group likes to try different places each time, but if we were to go back to Lake Gaston, the Executive Mansion would definitely be on the list."

"Our host were very attentive and a pure pleasure to work with. Jeanette and Dennis are great people and they make you feel at home. We love to sit on the deck in the morning and drink our coffee looking at the water. It is so relaxing and very peaceful. Check in and check out you couldn't ask for it to be any easier. We enjoyed our stay."

"Home was clean and inviting. Host was very accommodating and communicated through every step of the process. Dennis was very easy to reach with any questions. We also rented his pontoon boat for our group of 9 which worked out well. The community pool also added to the fun. We all had a very relaxing stay."
