Great location. Rooms were clean. Check in was smooth. Property needs attention to appearance and better provision of basic amenities (ie: dishcloth & towel in kitchenette unit). If location and price are most important, this hotel is relatively good value.

Not bad , price ok for older motel with lake view

We had an enjoyable stay .owners are hard working at keep this place decent .its very clean and you have sylvan lake ,right across the street .There is also a good size lawn with a very large firepit .(owners were generous and offered us free wood).I have stayed at this motel several times over the years since the 80's.This is an older motel but well kept and the owners work hard at maintaining it.lovely stay as usual, enjoyed drinks around the firepit, views of the lake and very clean comfortable beds for under $150.

Great location in Sylvan Lake. The property is older but has had some renovations and the room was very quiet even though it’s right across from the lake and by all the bars. Would stay again.

Great Stay!

It was a a good stay! Convenien right next to the beach which is where we wanted. The folks working there were helpful, pleasant and accomodating. We were updated fo a family room which was nice. I'd stay there again!!

The owner was a wonderful lady, very kind and friendly. The building is old but is clean and I do believe they are slowly improving the property. The location is fantastic and you can literally walk across the street and walk into the lake. I’d come again because of the staff and location.

This location is fantastic! However other guests staying at the hotel were loud/screaming profanities at each other, people were walking around intoxicated in the parking lot. It isn't somewhere we would stay with our child again.

I liked that they had green space and a BBQ( I didn’t know it was for guest use till afterwards). There parking was suitable. Friendly welcoming staff. The check in process once I arrived was a bit confusing to learn they were going cancel my room and it was not even check in time. However it was figured out and the staff were great.

Property is old and could use a little maintenance. The stairs to the second floor where not finished neither was the second level patio. When we arrived there was no parking. They told me too bad should have gotten here earlier. So when you book make sure you make it clear you need a parking spot. We got lucky and someone was leaving. We parked and did not move till we checked out. For the room, the queen bed is old and sunken in the middle. Make it hard to sleep two on it. The rooms are outdated but where clean at least. This served its purpose and it was nice were where across the street from the lake. Would go back, but also might spend an extra could bucks on one of the better maintained hotels on other sides.

Manager and staff were very friendly. We stayed in the family suite. Our room had Air Conditioning brand new laminate flooring, everything was repainted. It was nice, clean. There were some outdated appliances, but no big deal. Slowly renovating, but takes time. Super convenient being right across from the lake, everything is in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again with my family. Thanks

We stayed for three nights at the Beach Front and based on recently read reviews we weren't sure what to expect. However I'm happy to say we were pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and the owners/workers are super friendly and helpful. We never had to wait for anyone at the front desk. They even upgraded us to a kitchenette at no extra charge! The rooms are what I would expect of an affordable beach motel and relatively basic. The had an air conditioner/fan/dehumidifier and dedicated wifi that was super fast. I also like that they had bathtubs and not just showers, for a chill, relaxing time. The property has a big fire pit and chairs, picnic tables, and barbecues. It's in an absolutely perfect location for going to the beach, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We didn't have to drive anywhere. The room could have been a little bit cleaner, some dust/sand, and a few errant bottles etc. from previous guests under the beds. Nothing that would hinder me from coming back.
