"This was our second stay at The Place to Be. We returned because of the beauty of the location and surrounding area and because we had such a positive experience last year. The standard has upheld by the host. The house is clean and has everything one would need! The host is communicative and accommodating. There wasn't a litany of cleaning requirements or unreasonable requests of guests. There weren't tacky signs posted throughout the home. Just concise information, a home stocked for an enjoyable stay and peace. Highly recommend! (Just not the holiday weekend in October, because we call dibs!)"

"This was our best getaway ever! We were speechless with how beautiful the cabin was along with the lake and scenery. Watching the sunrise on the porch with coffee in hand was just perfect. Not to mention the awe we were in as we watched the stars at night. Never have seen so many. Bob was very quick to respond to our questions and we can’t thank him enough for allowing us to enjoy the beauty he has created. Exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back again for sure."

"This home felt like your own private resort! Our group included me, my husband, our two adult children and our teenage son. The inside was immaculate and had plenty of space for everyone including a huge kitchen, large living room and smaller den. The bedrooms were also spacious and the bathrooms included amenities not typically found in other rentals. The basement provided a great deal of entertainment for the whole family with the pool table, ping pong table, foosball and darts. The outdoor space was also exceptional. The pool was the largest we have seen in any property we have rented and the pool house was a huge bonus. The grounds were beautiful, serene and spacious. The hot tub was wonderful! We also enjoyed exploring the neighboring towns with quaint shops and very good restaurants. The host, Monica, was pleasant and very quick to respond to our questions. Check in/out was super easy. While we went in the summer, this would also be a wonderful place in the winter with the cozy atmosphere including two fireplaces and a wood stove! We would definitely stay here again!"
