Fabulous overnight near rail station, walkable to everything. Kind, accommodating, conscientious people. Pristinely clean room, good heat for winter, and hot water shower, small but adequate. View will be better when refurbishment of adjacent building is finished.

Hotel Roma Stay

A budget hotel, but everything was above standard, apart from the very basic breakfast. Room was very clean and A/C worked really well. Would highly recommended other travellers. Close to the railway station and easy walk to centre of the city. The only let down is there is no bag store and reception not manned throughout the day. But…..that said you have a great hotel for a great price.

Very good location, close to attractions , restaurants and shopping. Staff was very Nice, fresh breakfast and spacious and clean room. Perfect for us which run the marathon, about 1.5 km to start and 600 m from arrival. Highly recommend!

A pleasant start to our Italian travels.

Everything was as expected except the bathroom which was too small to be functional. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and very eager to help us.

The accommodations were fairly clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were run down. I had to switch rooms because the electrical panel shorted out. The area looked abit sketchy at first but was ok once you walked around abit. It is within walking distances of all of the sights and the bus/trains.

You get what you pay for I suppose but I think they can still do better. The room had peeling paint everywhere and drain flies. The walls are very thin and people must have been smoking inside. On a positive note, the bed was clean and a place to rest my head which is about what I expected. The staff were kind. Overall it did the job but I would probably try to find another place next time.

In hindsight, we would've booked another hotel for our stay in Ravenna. Unfortunately the quality of this hotel is quitte poor. Here are the things we didn't like during our stay: -Cleanliness of the room: the room didn't feel or look clean -Furniture in the room: outdated & didn't match, a door of a wardrobe was missing. Very little care has been put in the rooms. Really old rusty elevator as well. -Problems with airconditioning: during one night the airconditioning functioned really poorly and then shut off, we've heard other guests complain about this issue as well. When asking the staff next morning, we were informed that there was an issue with the airco and a repairmen was going to fix it. No apologies whatsoever. Later another member of the staff denied this and blamed us for not using the system correctly which we did. -Communication with the staff: as an English speaker it was hard to communicate with most of the staff. We've also saw miscommunication between staff. -Breakfast: nice that it was included but not a single fresh item displayed beside the fruit Plusside was the location of the hotel which is close to the station and city centre. However you can find hotels in this area that are far better than the Roma hotel.

The hotel is super close to the train station (about a 3-5 minute walk) and easy walking distance from the center of Ravenna. Staff was very kind and accommodating, breakfast was varied and delicious (with free cappuccino!) and everything in the room was up to standard. Would totally stay here again
