"This was the first time we stayed here we go to Kirkland every year for the Races and I must say I was very impressed with first of all the price and it was super clean. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite he walked through the room with us and made sure everything was ok asked if we needed everything extra Would most definitely stay again"

"Be sure to contact the Microtel in Kirkland Lake directly. Don't bother booking through Expedia. We booked 3 rooms. Non of them were refundable. We booked one of the rooms for 2 nights. We THOUGHT we were on the Wyndam site booking directly however bots and scammers pose as the actual site. We ended up booking through a scam site that charged us outrageous booking fees that weren't listed up front and the room was non refunable. Avoid the hassle. Pick up the phone, call the ACTUAL hotel, speak with the front desk staff, not a booking agency and deal with the hotel directly. Online booking sites are NOT worth the money. Turns out it would have been less expensive to book directly with the front desk than it would have been to book with EXPEDIA"

"The office was a bit complicated to find when we arrived. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The suite encompassed a well equipped kitchen complete with full size refrigerator/freezer, stove with oven, countertops and sink. Perfect for cooking our meals. In addition to a large living room, dining area, and bath, there were two large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Well worth the money. Recommend it for either a short or long stay. We were there 3 nights."
