"What a FANTASTIC alternative to staying inside the walls! Literally a 500 meter (8 mins) walk to the Rödertor Gate entrance of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Wonder staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and off-street parking included. The included breakfast offering is fantastic! We even witnessed the staff prepare a special breakfast table setting for someone celebrating a birthday! With pleasure I recommend Hotel Merian Rothenburg!"

The town is gorgeous and the location of this hotel is fantastic. We did eat lunch here, which was excellent, but u fortunately the beer garden was closed due to the timing of our trip (late Oct). I would definitely come back and recommend this establishment. "
