Perfect value for money

Nice, clean, and new renovated hotel. I rented it because to rest out from a long flight. But i also would go there next time for an romantic weekend.

Hidden Gem

We enjoyed our stay. This is a very old building, but it has been kept up, it is clean and the staff was very helpful to us, which we really appreciated. The hotel faces a fairly busy 2 lane road, but the windows in the room blocked out almost all of the noise. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. It was close to the Dusseldorf airport. We were very pleased with our stay, and would definitely stay there again!

Cute hotel with a nice outdoor area

Very nice a cute hotel. It’s clean and tidy and look newer, with a nice yard you can sit in. Breakfast was good, had everything you need. It wasn’t very sound proof so you could hear other guests talking and moving around. The railway is just next to the hotels and trains often pass by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the highway. Would recommend.

The absolute only issue about this hotel is it is 3 stories with no elevator. I did not see that anywhere when I booked so it was a bit of a surprise to have to lug 55 pounds of luggage up to top floor. The staff always offered to help though. Room was large and felt like a bedroom not a hotel room. Breakfast is available. Best croissants I had on my trip. Most of the staff speaks English.

The property was clean and the room was okay but right next to train tracks and road—so noisy all night long. Paper thin walls so you could hear every guest who walked in, conversations of guests next to us, and every time a guest dropped luggage. Curtains didn’t cover the windows so light coming through from the street all night.

Beware the trains!

Firstly, the staff are lovely and the building is a lovely looking building. No complaints there, nice and clean. But, it has a big problem. The hotel sits right on the train line heading into Düsseldorf. The passenger trains are fine, but the freight trains are the loudest thing on earth, and they pass right by the window, which you must have open, because there is no Air-conditioning. And they pass at whatever time of night they want. So 11pm, midnight, 3am 5am. Yes all of those, I did not sleep well at all, and the curtains don’t cover the whole window, so, 5am, woken by the sun. We were given our 2 beers for the previous night for free as some kind of compensation, but be warned this is not a good hotel for sleep. If I had paid more than €50 I might have demanded a full refund it was that bad, but it’s not the reception staff’s fault so I didn’t, and the rest of the room was fine. Will not be going back. Car park is down the side. Seems safe enough.

We stayed here one night when driving north and overall had a very positive experience. The room was spacious and cozy with comfortable bed, and our dog really loved the dog bed provided! The staff was kind and welcoming, although we did have a little issue as I was initially charged twice for the room and couldn’t get an answer to this at first, but I promptly got a refund so that was all good in the end.

The hotel is overall good, but we experienced that there was an odor of cesspool in the room. We did have the window open, but then closed it and the smell remained. Maybe the smell came from the toilet. In any case, that was the least pleasant experience.

Parkeren achter de accomodatie gratis Receptioniste bij aankomst erg vriendelijk. Winkels en restaurantjes op loopafstand. Maar...ontbijtbuffet wat er morgens om 6.00 zou zijn en waar voor betaald was helaas er was niets . We konden zo maar de luchthaven. Echt heel slecht. We hebben bij de receptie een kaartje achter gelaten met onze naam en tel.nr zodat ze aan o s het geld van ontbijt kunnen overmaken.
