Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room was interesting. It was dusty, dirty inside including in the floor corners showing there are some areas not cleaned for some time. There was hair all over the bathroom, something on the tub itself that was not clean. There was a hole in the wall of our room. We did not have high expectations, but the most frustrating was how my daughter was spoken to when she went to ask about the books in the mini library in the lobby. There was a sign saying that you could take a book or leave a book or buy one for $3 which she was interested in doing. The manager/owner was quite rude to her saying those were only for other people. He did not need to be rude, she was willing to pay for the book. We decided to leave earlier than initially planned as neither wanted to shower in a dirty bathroom or spend time in a room that was not really welcoming. Had the owner been kind to my daughter, we might have let some of our other issues with the room slide, but as it was, we just wanted to get out of there. We arrived at about 6pm, left at 3:30 am with no plans to return.
The one plus with this room was the room patio. It would have been great if the patio door could stay open, but it was wonderful to stand up there and feel the wind.
Generally we are treated well at Wyndham properties. This one was a disappointment.
